why have we hardly seen shipments today?

yeah if you happen to be home right now - but what if you aren't home - or if they leave it and it gets stolen. With no tracking you never know it was even delivered to be on the look out for it.
I thought about the same thing today. In fact I called the cooperate store closest to me late this afternoon and they said they had gotten several MB 7's in in the 128GB. She said they just sold their last one but expected more in tomorrow. If they would have told me they had one and would have held it for me I probably would have jumped ship.
Got in before the 3:00 start time and still have an October ship date!

I'm in the same situation, it seems like AT&T have extremely limited quantities for regular JB, pretty much noone has gotten the shipment if the estimated ship date is oct 14-21..

I have been asking ATT peeps on twitter, chat, in person on phone and NOT ONE had any clue what I was talking about. They kept giving me links to the switcher promo or other nonsense.

Which is crap because nowhere in the upgrade disclaimer does it say anything about getting the new iPhones on launch day. The are just being whiny people who feel entitled.

That means nothing.
Standard practice by your bank, means nothing in terms of you getting your iPhone shipped.
Apple is being sued, yes.
Everything else is pure conjecture.
Given that they are being sued, diverting stock would actually be a pretty stupid move. It would be taken as an admission of guilt.
Pretty sure Apples lawyers are smarter than that.
Videos of people who waited all night in line at Apple, only to be told this morning that they do not have any stock of 7 Pluses are starting to surface. I feel bad for them having waited, some of them for two days in line. Compared to them, we're in a better situation guys!

Someone posted it in the ATT trade in thread, but it got buried. That poster said they found it in the ATT forums. You'd think that ATT would want people to know this and make it easy to find.
Those people didn't pay any attention. Apple said they wouldn't have any 7+'s available.
May be not. According to the invoice, my phone "entry date" is 9/12 at 00:38, the "pick date" is 9/13 at 11:12. The AT&T web site shows 9/14 as the "Ship date". Fedex tracking shows that it was actually picked up by Fedex on 9/13 at 12:37 pm. The "Ship date" is after Fedex physically picked it up, so it's meaningless.
Uh..considering Apple issued a statement yesterday that there would NO stock available for any walk-in looking for a 7 Plus of any kind...I can't feel bad for anyone that didn't have enough sense to get informed before spending all night in line.
Yep I pre ordered the Jet Black 256 at 12:01am last week and today I got the regular Black 128gb and the worst thing is ATT won't do a damn thing about it. They said I have to return it within 14 days and then wait 50-60 days for the correct one to be sent to me!

Shipping lists September 23rd thru the 30th.. no charges.. labels created .. nor emails pretty nothing since I ordered. So I assume I won't see it until September 23rd or later and that's fine was just excited
Went to ATT store 9am to a shatter glass door someone attacked since there wasn't any + options lol MERICA
Walked in and they had tons of every non + models you can snag. Not a single + avliable
Nice kid told me if my ship date is September 23rd window expect my phone in the September 23rd second window FYI so I'll be watching posts for a week. Saw some of the non + models folks had at work today there nice but certainly a lady's model/ tiny person phones lol I hope everyone here gets everything they want sooner then later
Oh no! I would be so upset. I'd keep trying to up the chain of customer service if I were you. If you can even get it in 1-2 weeks vs 2 months that would be so much better.

Interesting that your actual ship date/time are pretty close! It may have some merit.
