Sorry, but ATT has been horrid. Letting people in befor 3:00 am Eastern time, then delaying their orders, server crashes less than 2hours in to preorder launch and they tell us it was routine maintenance LOL. Giving lame one week shipping windows instead of delivery dates, shipping to people that ordered hours and days after others. Sorry, I know you work for them, but I'll never order anything again from AT&T.

Had I realized that it was going to be a month for JB, I probably would have gotten the matte and been happy with that. I still don't understand the timestamp thing, cause it showed that I completed order at 1:41, and I Know that I didn't pay out and finalize til 1:59. But it is what it is. Last year, it was smooth as silk for me on the gray 6s+, but then again, Apple had that extra week to stock up a little ahead. Every year, there is always a foul up with either Apple or a carrier or something. Can tell ya this, I think EVERYONE preorders now. In my city, the one Verizon and Best Buy and Sprint had NO one camping out at their store, (Sprint usually never does in any year), and one of the 2 ATT stores had a few. Then came flooding rain on them. Imagine being the guy getting soaked half the night and then finding out the store you been camping out at all night had no +.

After three orders, they just cancelled my last order. No reason given, just cancelled. Now I have to call and no doubt, I'm going to get the raw end of the deal. All the jet black phones are sold out in my city. Haven't checked Best Buy.
 
Hi all, ive been watching this thread for a few days now and im in the same boat as most of you. 128 JB plus ordered at 203am ct estimated shipping 10/14-10/21.
Question, and im hopefully I didnt miss the answer somewhere here already, but website says preparing to ship, text says processing...is there a difference?

I think your right about more and more preorders and less and less in-store. It's where the retailers and manufacturers want it to go. I hope they get their **** together before that. Lol

unicorn was just sent to backordered via att text. idk if any of you guys are still here that have your phone but when it went to backordered did you receive new shipping dates? I did thru myatt. trying to decide if I should cancel.

Back ordered with at&t usually means actually getting ready to ship. I'd hold off on cancelling if I were you.

AT&T is SO lame. Customer service closed at 10:00pm the night before iPhone launch date. No live chat available, people getting shipping confirmation who ordered hours and even days later than others who stayed up late to preorder, absolutely ZERO correspondence for a week after ordering, preparing to ship two weeks out? Really AT&T? This is BY FAR the worst customer experience I have ever had in nearly a decade of preordering iPhones (always from Apple, boy did I learn my lesson) and this my first and last time I'll ever order anything from this lame company. I clearly intend to let them know it so they can laugh and say "we really don't care", which is obviously their attitude. They need to get out of the preorder business as they simply don't have the ability or will to do it properly. Never, ever again AT$T (yes, I purposely used the dollar sign there). Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. You shan't get another shot at totally ***** up my order ever again.

Apple isn't any better... I ordered from AT&T 09/09 @ 11:57 PST. Ordered from Apple right after. Have heard literally ZILCH from both..

Called ATT the following Monday because after the weekend my wifi button greyed out as well as bluetooth. Turned out they could perform some sort of "override" to get my phone sooner. The rep cancelled my order and PROMISED a launch day phone. New order had shipping dates of 9/12 to 9/16 with an order time on launch date at 1am ET. I had hope. Phone remained "preparing to ship" until now.

Last time I ever order from AT&T again. 128GB MB 7+ ordered at 2:57am EST and I'm still on preparing to ship. What an absolute joke. I don't even care if I have to go through the apple site crashing I'm sure they will at least ship my phone out. Even if it takes me longer to get it idc at this point.....I'm just so fed up with AT&T and they have no answer to this. Terrible customer service.

Nope, Apple is horrible too. Order from AT&T at 11:57pm on 09/09. Ordered same phone from Apple right after within 5 minutes of going live. Haven't heard anything on either...

Around 9pm tonight my phone went into backorder via text, but myatt account gives new ship dates in October. All of those who had their device delivered after "backorder" please let me know if you had new shipdates like i did. Also got an email saying my shipment was pushed back.

Ordered 128gb 7+ at 301 am. Got a expected delivery date of 9/30-10/7. Bought the phone out right. I do every year. On 9/14, a charge for over $900.00 was charged on my cc. This is not the hold. The hold fell off day after I pre ordered it. This is an actual charge.

Yesterday my order status changed to back order with a expected ship date of 10/14-10/21.


Spent about 4 hours on the phone trying to get a hold of att. Finally got through and after requesting a supervisor, I was told that apple took back a shipment of allocated units. It was "OUT OF THEIR HANDS" as I was told. My response was that's ****ed up and I want my money back. Refund will take anywhere from 3-5 days. I told them I didn't want to cancel my order just wanted my money back for the time being since a phone was not "SHIPPED" to me.

Wake up this morning and see that my phone is still back ordered expected ship date now slipped into November. 10/28-11/4.

Screw you att

Apple fully charged me...Nothing has shipped and no update. It's not just AT&T.
