Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

As far as I can see, since the Apple upgrade every year whiners filed their lawsuit, EVERYONE else has been ass out getting a phone. Looks like Apple diverted all the phones they could to those snivlers. I tell you, makes apple and ATT both look bad man.

Then why is this the first preorder where majority of + users aren't getting their phones? What else has happened to cause this unexpected

Bear in mind that this suit was filed before iPhones were even made available. So as long as apple made sure these guys got their phones on launch, there's no lawsuit. Nothing to admit. Yes, it's conjecture because nobody truly knows, except Tim Cook and his team, but who are we kidding?? Apple put out a half assed upgrade and they expected half assed demand and completely understimated how much supply of 7 pluses they would need and the guys in the Apple upgrade program were set to get the short end of the stick. Apple planned on having iPhones of all models, sizes and colors in varying quantities at Apple stores on launch. But for the first year ever they let us know in advance a lot of popular models won't be available at all on launch. That doesn't sound like a launch to me and I refuse to believe Apple spent a whole year preparing for a launch with no pluses at all available. It just doesn't add up. So let's use common sense and think, what happened this week for Apple to make an announcement like that last minute? it wasn't because the pluses sold out during pre orders because if that was the case We would have our preorder. But we don't, so where are the phones?

iphone 7+ matte black 256GB and just like most of you my status has said preparing to ship for few days now
est 9-23 to 9-30. i did the whole ups tracking but the weight says 7 lbs but i heard everyone else for iphone is 2 lbs.

Figured I would throw in an update on mine, in the same boat as most:

iPhone 7+ 128 GB Matte Black
Order date: 09/09/2016 at 2:52:43 a.m. ET
Estimated ship dates: September 23, 2016 - September 30, 2016
Status: Preparing to Ship (since 9/10)

A couple things, as others have noticed the order dates are incorrect. My order was completed at 3:05:06 AM ET. 2:52:43 may have been the time I opened the website and got placed in the queue.

Second, I opened a new line with this order. While it isn't listed yet on the main account management site, if I go through the ATT "Upgrade a Line" page on the AT&T Online Store, the new phone number is listed with a contract expiration date of 09/09/2018. Don't know if that means they have an IMEI/phone associated with it or not.

Apple never had many 7 plus anyway.
They released phones before inventory was built up. Why else could you order at 12:00 am and get a delivery date of 23-30

Quick questions, can you reserve a phone to be put on ATTs next plan in store at Apple? So if I wanted a Silver 256GB 7+(If they had them) and wanted to get it tomorrow, would they allow it to be done via the Next program? Then again, no guarantee they will have them, and I don't know if I want to chance it by canceling my order on ATT.com.

Here's the video that really did it for me (http://www.cnet.com/videos/jet-black-iphone-7-scratch-test/). She just slides it across the edge of a table and it looks bad afterwards. It gets even worse after it gets shaken in the bag of jingly things.

Here's another. I didn't get all the way through this one but all I needed to see was what the penny did and I new I wouldn't be able to handle it.


I'm sure there'll be plenty more vids, and probably some angry customers (Apple did warn us), in the coming days. I really wanted to like the Jet Black and probably will be jealous looking at the new ones (may even run by apple store today just to see). However, I want to be able to go without a case and not worry about it looking worn after only a few outings.
 
Just get the full back body only (called: "Full Wrap") as opposed to case friendly (called: "simple ") Glossy cover from bestskinsever.com.. for the back of your jet black.. Zero worry of scratches ever. Keeps the gloss look in tact - feels amazing. Then I use a ZAGG HD Glass Invisishield for front.

I love the naked look/feel.. But I have to have protection. Just hate cases.

This kinda pisses me off too. The whole water and scratch test crap. People are sitting here that ordered the iPhone at 3 in the damn morning, and you're rubbing pennies on them, scratching them with razors, and throwing them in toilets.
