Just got off the phone with a rep. She said that my order said "in progress" and should ship out by tomrrow or Tuesday. She said next Sunday at the latest.
well i ordered a phone for me and 1 for my wife, neither of us got an email saying anything about next terms or anything. the only thing i got was an email for each line that i paid off our current next early and then the conf email of preorder. i do remember having to check 3 boxes before it would let me finish the order. i say all this and my wife received her iphone on launch day.OK. So I looked into this a little bit and I am going based on the NEXT program. If you pre-ordered, you should have your first email that is your actual confirmation. Attached is your electronically signed NEXT agreement that has the terms and conditions baked into it. I see my name typed under the sig and says accepted electronically when you open the attachment. If you have that you should be good. If you are pre-ordering without using the NEXT program, I have no idea where you would accept the TandC's before getting to submit your order. Just trying to help people in a panic right now and going on my experience only. Check your emails. HOpefull this helps.
You should ask her why your confirmation email states:Yesterday I talked to a CSR and they told me the orders weren't first come first serve when I told he that people that ordered after me had received their phone. I told her that was ridiculous and she doubled down, saying that that isn't how preorders work.
Did she explain just how ATT's "First come, last served" preorder system actually works?Yesterday I talked to a CSR and they told me the orders weren't first come first serve when I told he that people that ordered after me had received their phone. I told her that was ridiculous and she doubled down, saying that that isn't how preorders work.
Yeah, I have one email from AT&T and I continued with the NEXT program and I don't have anything attached to it about my contract.. I don't what's happened.OK. The Termsandconditions should be attached to your confirmation email of your iphone. If you ordered 2 then I guess you should have 2 of them. I am just not sure checking the boxes got it done, maybe when there system crashed it didnt associate the TandC's with people orders? IDk...well i ordered a phone for me and 1 for my wife, neither of us got an email saying anything about next terms or anything. the only thing i got was an email for each line that i paid off our current next early and then the conf email of preorder. i do remember having to check 3 boxes before it would let me finish the order. i say all this and my wife received her iphone on launch day.
actually my email doesnt say thatYou should ask her why your confirmation email states:
All orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is ready to ship.
How are y'all getting these reps with common sense and answers? I'm forever getting stuck with the ones who act like they've never answered a phone before..Just got off the phone with a rep. I am all over a AT&T agent over no 256 black plus being shipped
They simply told me "we don't have a phone for you yet." They blame it all on Apple.I am all over a AT&T agent over no 256 black plus being shipped
actually my email doesnt say that
well like i said i received her iphone friday. and i ordered at 7am so i think that was after the crash. i have talked to 2 agents and they both say my order is fine. just waiting for a phone to ship... not saying that is the case, but if 1 of them shipped without the email i would guess the other should tooThe Termsandconditions should be attached to your confirmation email of your iphone. If you ordered 2 then I guess you should have 2 of them. I am just not sure checking the boxes got it done, maybe when there system crashed it didnt associate the TandC's with people orders? IDk...
Shortly after the confirmation email, you should've received an 'order status" emailI only received one email from ATTorderstatus with the usual "we received your order". Nothing else. Should there have been an additional confirmation? My order time shows as 9/9 4:30am EDT but I also didn't get my email until almost 11am.
No changes ever on *ORDER# or online. Still preparing for shipment. MB 128GB Plus. Not feeling particularly confident about this!
She's the first one I got that was like that. She said that since it says in progress it means that they are packaging my items or that they were at the warehouse. She said they'll ship tomorrow or WednesdayHow are y'all getting these reps with common sense and answers? I'm forever getting stuck with the ones who act like they've never answered a phone before..

Ahhh... what I meant by that is that I am giving att the proverbial middle finger and taking my business elsewhere starting tomorrow morning.
No I'm with you....
Ok, here is what I was told ...in the end, in my case, I had already accepted the terms even though part of their system clearly does not think that is the case.
I was told that my order would be shipping soon and that the ecommerce team confirmed that for her.
That said, yes I too will be making alternate plans going forward and won't be participating in this dance with att.
I was given the e-commerce phone number should I need to directly contact them in the future (heaven forbid). So here it is below. I did not check the number to see if it was already given out but if not I do hope that it helps someone to get some answers and or positive movement on their order(s).

is this for a new line or new service? because my email didnt even look like that, no picture or anythingSorry for the zoomed in picture, on iPad and had to hide some details. See top of attached screenshot.
I told her that I had read that but couldn't remember where. She kept asking me to tell her where that was, I couldn't, and she said that's because that's not how the preorder system works. You should ask her why your confirmation email states:
All orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is ready to ship.
Added a line to existing plan, hence no phone number (just the requested area code). But it does state that is their policy.is this for a new line or new service? because my email didnt even look like that, no picture or anything
