WHAT? That's the whole point of shipping them in order. Because you have the sheer volume of orders that the people who ordered first should get theirs first rather than randomly picking people.

I completely agree. That's why I am going to a different carrier now. Nobody has time for games like this. I know I sure as hell don't.
 
Just a curiosity, my phone shipped today and I have a tracking number and everything but still haven't received an email saying it shipped. Has anyone else experienced that?
 
I just went through all possible mailboxes and I never received anything in regard to my NEXT agreement. Only item I have is the 'we received your order' email.

Is it even worth the headache of trying to call or just cancel and try to find one in a store?
Call that e-commerce and order update number posted a few pages back. They are the department you need to check with.

What's weird for me is I ever got anything either after upgrading through NEXT. I also noticed on the website it now says I have a 2 year contract. That sounds problematic doesn't it?
It's just the payments on your phone that make it a 2 year contract...that is if you financed your device with them. You can pay it off early and move along IIRC.

The rep I spoke to earlier before I canceled said that people who got their phones first were people who preordered?? I told her I preordered too and had a time stamp that was earlier than most! Then she went on saying they most likely had earlier shipping dates. So I said that's not true cause we all had 9/23-30 ship dates. Then she put in it was "first come first serve basis"? So I had to shoot her down again and mention that many people placed their orders waaaaay after me and still got it on launch. She had other excuses that were laughable but hey, it's AT&T right?? o_O
 
Just letting anyone who is thinking of switching to another carrier, Verizon is actually worse. In my experience, anyways. I left them to come to AT&T 2 years ago and couldn't have been happier about it until a few days ago. Now I'm just pissy cuz I know there really isn't anything any better out there. Not where I live.
 
just an update....ordered iPhone 7 plus jet black 256gb thru att website...order was in at 3:03am et. still no movement stuck on preparing to ship. est delivery of sept 29-oct 7......

I am new to next every year. Formally one a two year contract. Were we suppose to get a contract to agree to through email? I'm wondering if that is what is holding up some of the shipments for people.
 
I don't know if UPS and FedEx ship overnight on Sunday's or not, would like to know, I have my FedEx tracking, but they haven't shipped it yet, says Tuesday now by 8PM which isnt an issue, just would love it to appear tomorrow.
I don't know about FedEx, but I'm pretty sure UPS doesn't fly on Sunday nights. I live in the same town as the hub and have a friend who loads and unloads the planes and they're off Saturday and Sunday. But they also might have mandatory overtime because of the iPhone 7.

Same here bud. 2:53am 7+ JB stuck on preparing to ship since Saturday. spoke to att rep today. no help at all. tried searching through ups using my phone number, no luck. I cant seem to figure out how to search through fedex since they ask for an account number and reference number. let me know if you know how to.
 
Their site definitely is not working accurately this year. Says there are no 7 Pluses any carrier in the US. Which we all know isnt true as some of us picked up today in store.
As of right now the apple site says the same, which I imagine is where they get their info.

Track by reference, then put in destination country and zip code. No account number needed. Not sure if anyone has successfully tracked by reference or what they used though.
