Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Same here bud. 2:53am 7+ JB stuck on preparing to ship since Saturday. spoke to att rep today. no help at all. tried searching through ups using my phone number, no luck. I cant seem to figure out how to search through fedex since they ask for an account number and reference number. let me know if you know how to.

I set up an account through FedEx and tried to. Tried to verify their delivery manager system. However, half the questions were of previous owners of my house. I can't pass the verification. Lived here 6 years.

Anyway, logging into normal account on FedEx doesn't show any deliveries to my address.

Yeah one of them! I'm waiting up to check apple's stock of the one I'm waiting for. I'm really hoping they have one nearby cuz I imagine hitting that "cancel" button feels real nice.

1-866-895-1099 this is the phone number Nate originally conference me on, and I got a tracking number within minutes, granted it isn't pulling up anything yet.

When I call that number it says to activate the phone... I might a bit confused because I'm porting my T-Mobile number over to be a first time user of att. Am I even able to do that. I still have my T-Mobile phone of course because I've been waiting for my iPhone+

Just FYI today the reservations updated as the stores opened. I wasn't able to reserve one until 7:50am in California. They open reservations around 8 am local time.

Just a curiosity, my phone shipped today and I have a tracking number and everything but still haven't received an email saying it shipped. Has anyone else experienced that?

Yeah I didn't get my email till 7AM this morning that said it shipped. I had to get my Tracking from a ATT CSR, I only found out it shipped because they did send a congrats your phone is on its way email, with a personalized video. Got both my ATT Your items are on their way, and FedEx email this morning. They should come when FedEx or UPS picks them up, whichever one your phone is coming from.

Just letting anyone who is thinking of switching to another carrier, Verizon is actually worse. In my experience, anyways. I left them to come to AT&T 2 years ago and couldn't have been happier about it until a few days ago. Now I'm just pissy cuz I know there really isn't anything any better out there. Not where I live.

Same here. I am one of those people who have both AT&T and Verizon phones. Verizon is the devil. They are so anal that getting them to do anything (which has to happen because of no sim card) when you want them to do it. Therefore, if you happen to live 5 miles from a tower, you have to get in your car and drive to the tower to activate your phone. Once you're with them, the service is horrible. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and once I get the 6S+ paid for, I'm leaving them immediately.

I guess you have to wait till after midnight because they only allow you to reserve for the same day and since now there are no times available, it won't let you

Oh I see what you are saying now. Well than I guess that's why I'm up. I used to live by Atlantic City and I know it's a big drive but it's better than waiting 3 weeks for my phone

Any apple location I look up says reserves are unavailable and since I work I can't just go apple hopping lol

Oh I see what you are saying now. Well than I guess that's why I'm up. I used to live by Atlantic City and I know it's a big drive but it's better than waiting 3 weeks for my phone

I think i might make a trip down there tomorrow if by afternoon nothing changes and they still have the black pluses available

Yeah the states won't be grayed out and you'll be able to select each one as it becomes 12 am in that states time zone. So at 9 pm in California, you should be able to see reservation times for tomorrow in Florida.. If that makes sense.

Oh, if you want the rose gold I think they had it somewhere closer (at least to me, and I'm in west Chester) in NJ, I check a lot of stores and they had gold, rose gold and silver available

I mean you gotta think, yeah there's only so much stock and yeah there's only so many reservations, but you're not competing with everyone in America with AT&T like you were in the preorder lol you're literally just competing with people who have AT&T in your area. And that's if they want the phone you want. If your store somehow has stock, your chances are much higher.

I pre-ordered an iPhone 7 Plus 256GB JB through AT&T like many of you. I ordered at 3:03:36 EST, and as of today I still had no movement.

Just got an iPhone 7 Plus 256GB MB this evening. It didn't come from AT&T.

I really just wanted a black iPhone with the dual lens. So I started checking around for inventory on Apple's website. There were multiple Apple stored with inventory of Plus models, but none had JB. So I gave up on the JB model and made a reservation.

I'd recommend canceling your AT&T pre-order once you have a reservation if you're willing to not have a JB model. I waited in line for about 15 minutes at the Apple Store and walked out with my new phone. I'm very happy with it so far.

I mean you gotta think, yeah there's only so much stock and yeah there's only so many reservations, but you're not competing with everyone in America with AT&T like you were in the preorder lol you're literally just competing with people who have AT&T in your area. And that's if they want the phone you want. If your store somehow has stock, your chances are much higher.

You have a good point there. I'm not looking for the new jet black or anything. Im just looking for the rose gold. So I suppose chances are in my favor.

Yeah the states won't be grayed out and you'll be able to select each one as it becomes 12 am in that states time zone. So at 9 pm in California, you should be able to see reservation times for tomorrow in Florida.. If that makes sense.

I'm confused....so can we make reservations at midnight local time or 8am? I'm about 1.5 hours from the nearest apple store, so I kind of need to know ahead of time if they have the phone I want before I go there.

I'd also like to state for the record that their reservation system is stupid. I can only make reservations for 30 minutes from the current time. I guess they expect me to drive 300mph to get there in time or something. I don't understand why I cannot pick a reservation time 1.5 hours from now which I could actually make....just a REALLY stupid system...
