For people that got phones through apples reservation system today, did I hear of someone reserving a Verizon phone and putting it on ATT's network? Or am I making that up?

Yeah I say it on the thread. It's all the same line. Once you are there you can change it. Or so I heard on the forums

I pre-ordered an iPhone 7 Plus 256GB JB through AT&T like many of you. I ordered at 3:03:36 EST, and as of today I still had no movement.

Just got an iPhone 7 Plus 256GB MB this evening. It didn't come from AT&T.

I really just wanted a black iPhone with the dual lens. So I started checking around for inventory on Apple's website. There were multiple Apple stored with inventory of Plus models, but none had JB. So I gave up on the JB model and made a reservation.

I'd recommend canceling your AT&T pre-order once you have a reservation if you're willing to not have a JB model. I waited in line for about 15 minutes at the Apple Store and walked out with my new phone. I'm very happy with it so far.

I wish it was that easy for me.. every time I look to see if there are any reservations, gives me an error. :/ so now I'm just waiting for it to be 12:01am

Yes, you can buy a Verizon phone full cost/unlocked and since it has CDMA and GSM technology, you can stick your AT&T sim card in and go. The AT&T and T-Mobile phones are NOT dual technology though and ONLY work with a SIM.

Can anyone tell me the drop off procedure UPS is using for our phones?

I won't be home to receive it, but taped a signed note to my door, which isn't in a vulnerable area where someone would steal a box. Wrote a few sentences saying I authorize them to leave the box at my door. Will this be good enough for them to drop it off?

Do you know if Apple would put a Verizon phone on a Next program?

That was a stupid question, sorry. I don't know how to delete it.

I understand where you're going...I was wondering if I could buy the Verizon phone on the apple upgrade program at an Apple store and just use an att sim card in it until I can ditch att...

Well I had read earlier about someone who purchased a Verizon phone because of its value and just put their AT&T sim into it. I guess I just assumed they had it under the Next program but the more I thought about it, I can't imagine Apple would have let them do that.

Damn was hoping to reserve tonight and pickup after work tomorrow.. This sucks. Phones are going to be gone in mornings and I have to work all week...

So I reserved a 256 7+ MB for pickup tomorrow. Really wondering if I should just wait for the JB to be shipped. UGH! Don't know if I made the right choice lol

As mentioned in a previous post, I ordered my 128gb MB 7+ at 3:03am on 9/9 with shipping dates of 9/23-9/30. I'm one of those who were left behind. Anyhow, I just reserved the same phone from my local apple store to pick up at 10am tomorrow morning. Do I cancel my AT&T order now and then go get the phone at the apple store? In the past, I have always upgraded via the apple website (my 2 year contract always ended when a new iPhone came out).

Just reserved my 7+ black 128 GB, Nashua NH store!

Pre ordered from ATT at 3:20 EST and has been preparing to ship ever since then. Not canceling it until I have the 7+ in hand.
Same phone, same Apple store! Are you using the Next program? I don't really want to cancel right now, but I'm afraid if I wait, my upgrade won't be available in time

Yes you can reserve a Verizon phone, then purchase it with att next. You will just put the sim from your att phone into during the upgrade process. When I went the rep gave me all choices to buy the Verizon phone... next, iup, apple credit, full price outright.. I chose to just buy it out right, but could have done on next if I wanted to. Btw, the Verizon phone is better because you can use it with any carrier.
