I'm just going to stick it out and hope mine arrives in the 9/23-9/30 window. Theres no phones of my customization (matte black 256 plus) anywhere close to where I live. I'll just have to hope for the best, which hasn't really done me any good so far with AT&T. If they don't deliver in that window I will probably switch to verizon next year
Looks like some stores have refreshed their stock now. Still nothing over 32gb in a Plus anywhere in San Diego. Bummer

Nothing in my general area for the Rose Gold Plus in 128GB unless I want to drive 2 hours away. Probably wouldn't even work since I'm porting my number over from Sprint and AT&T is paying off my contract. I'm just getting so impatient! If my dates are true I still have another 3-4 weeks of waiting! It's gonna be brutal!
I ordered at 11:58 pm on Thursday night 9-8, received an immediate "preparing to ship" email with a 9-23/9-30 shipping, and not a peep since. Dozens of people in here getting their phone before me who ordered days after me. They just told me to expect it to ship on the last possible day, 9-30, and they will ship standard 3 day delivery. Lol. They are the absolute worst. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Never again. Never.

Got a Verizon 256 7+ in Matte black reserved for my wife. Not JB of course but I guess I can be more patient with mine. Not cancelling until I get to the store of course in case they decide to have issues with non-iPhone Upgrade thing or the Verizon to ATT Next thing.
I can't wait to cancel my contract with these clowns. I'll be smiling from ear to ear as I walk out of the store.

Might be a little late, but if you were trying to make a reservation and your preferred phone wasn't available, go through the process to buy one and see what's available for in store pickup. I saw there were black 128GB pluses available for pickup today at my local store, so quickly cancelled my AT&T order. The Next eligibility reset quickly and I was able to complete my order through Apple. FYI, this model was not available using the previously posted link to make a reservation.

Pickup in store? It only showed me shipping dates of 2-3 weeks for mine so I backed out and was just waiting on the reservation link to update.
I hope we see some more shipments today - frankly tired of waiting.
How does this work? They've never told me anything about it at the local store. I would definitely be interested in doing this.

Well, was able to find an Apple Store less than an hour drive away that had my exact model I wanted in stock (iPhone 7 Plus 128 Black.) I reserved it. Looks like I am heading there at noon if my AT&T order still hasn't shipped by then.
Does anyone know if I could do AT&T NEXT at the Apple Store with a Verizon phone?
If you reserve through apple upgrade program. When you get to the store can you end up switching to the next plan.
