Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Just got this text from AT&T.
"AT&T Free Msg: Your iPhone 7 Plus is on its way. As a reminder, you can receive up to $650 in monthly credits toward your new phone when you trade in an eligible iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6 Plus or iPhone 6S Plus. Go to att.com/tradeinoffer for full details including special trade instructions."
I feel like this means they're tired of the phone calls and messages.

In fact, I called AT&T today and they said that, in general terms, they get shipments into their warehouse(s) mid-week (I didn't ask if it's just once a week or multiple; I'm not that desperate [sic]), so the 9/23 shipping timeframe may have some "method to the madness," as it were.
While this CSR stated that JBs were definitely delayed (as well-documented in this thread and via Apple Store inventory look-up), they expected another round of shipping (my terminology) for the 9/23-9/30 window.
Therefore, yes, I agree. Back away from the keyboard just a tad until the next weekend/week hits. There are tons of us here who have claimed end of week for shipping; let's see what happens.

I was starting to get a little impatient waiting for any sort of movement on my delivery. Even so much as checking to see if there was any stock at Target near me. Just got a text notification from ATT saying my phone is on its way. Configuration is in my signature. Also my original estimated ship time was 10/14-10/21.

Hmm - that's a lot of texts without the standard shipping one. I hope AT&T realizes they are going to have a bunch of pissed off people if this is just an advertisement text
I was just going to get on here and complain for the first time about no hope and stuff but i JUST literally got a text at 11:00am from ATT saying your iPhone 7+ is on its way....

With as many people are starting to report the same text...I suspect it's them basically spamming their users...not cool AT&T...not cool.
Today's CSR call confirmed that regardless of how the devices get into AT&T's warehouses, they send most (certain exceptions I hear) via FedEx.
Personally, I like that; if you have a free account and set for notifications, you know anything's coming to you when it drops notification online.
I didn't get the text about shipping yet but it's exciting... maybe they've finally scanned in some of the shipments from all these planes we've been stalking. I hope the South East starts seeing a few updates.
This and every unboxing channel on YouTube getting every phone to open! Just send them 1 of each, not one of every color!!!

When your phone actually ships, you'll get a text with tracking information. That text you got doesn't mean it has shipped.
Well I guess I am screwed again because I didn't get any text.....ordered 7am on the 9th.matte plus 128 and still nothing.
Its definitely an automated text seeing that everyone got it at the same time. Given how everything has gone down with the pre order and the distribution of phones. This seems like a "everyone calm down your phone is on the way...eventually"
