Its definitely an automated text seeing that everyone got it at the same time. Given how everything has gone down with the pre order and the distribution of phones. This seems like a "everyone calm down your phone is on the way...eventually"

That would be regarding your phone then, AT&T doesn't send texts regarding Apple.com orders.

So this is weird but I ordered my phone 128 + MB at 4:03am EST and and wife's 128 7 silver just minutes after...she got her phone on launch day and I have had no update since then with the 9/23-9/30 shipping dates....she just received the text that her phone is on the way...but she already has hers....

Also got the same text that my MB iPhone 7+ 128GB is on its way. Surely this is a good sign and that it is shipping this week. I had 9/23-9/30 shipping window and completed the order through att.com at 3:09 AM EST.

Just got the same text. See the attached file. I haven't gotten any Fed Ex or UPS notices from the app or an email from AT&T. Just checked *6737# and nothing has moved on that end nor has it moved in my account when I log in to AT&T.com. Here's hoping!

I just got the same text as everyone else. Nothing updated on the site or via *6737# though. I'm gonna hurt someone if this is just ****ing spam!

Definitely seems like spam. Just a "hey, you're getting a new phone, don't forget to trade in your old one." No orders have gone to backordered like most other have before they ship. No change in *6737# order status or online. Doesn't seem like they'd change up the process now and start doing things differently.

I got the text too at 11:09am PST. My ship dates are still 9/23 - 9/30 (7+ MB 128GB) and ordered at 12:01am PST (my wife already has her Rose Gold 7+ 128GB, got it on launch date)

I received the text and 2 of my brothers just informed me that they received the text today as well.

-One ordered: 256GB Black iPhone 7 (new line ordered through ATT) and it delivered on Saturday
-One ordered: 256GB Black iPhone 7 Plus (through Apple) and it was supposed to deliver today (according to UPS MyChoice), but hadn't made it to America yet.

My other brother informed me that he did not receive the text. He got a 256GB Silver iPhone 7 Plus through Best Buy (~3:30am ET).
Not sure if my Mom or Dad received these texts, but they ordered their phones around 3:30am ET through Best Buy. My Mom's 256GB Rose Gold iPhone 7 Plus delivered today.
