Ordered my iPhone 7+ 256 gb matte black on 09/09/2016 at 3:00:24 am edt and I haven't received a thing (other than the original emails confirming my order). No text. Nothing.

Update!!!: I called *6737# just now and my order officially says my items are currently on back order and I'll get notification once they ship! Still hoping that's a good sign for shipment, but there's definitely updates happening in the warehouse. I called *6737# about 1-2 hours ago and it still said "in progress." So it's very recently changed.
I ordered my MB 128+ on 9/9 at 2:50 am ET with no changes in updates until just now. Original ship date 9/23-9/30. I also did not receive the mass text everyone just got.

What a deliberately misleading text. "Your iPhone is on it's way" certainly indicates your phone has shipped. I can't see how it can be interpreted any other way. It's on it's way to being built in China? It's on it's way to our warehouse? It's on it's way to "preparing for shipping" again. Wow. This is a new low for these guys.

Well that stinks only it's only spam. I was in a meeting at work and only had time to glance at the message. Now reading through here I got excited over nothing. My status hasn't changed - "Preparing to Ship".

perhaps they got a bunch of iphone pluses in and sent a mass text to the queue as a "that will excite and confuse them while we sort these out" message. And they only had to send it to half of the preorders shipped or not because they knew that much would excite and confuse the rest of us

Mine said the same thing since yesterday around 6! It's about 4 hours until 24hrs hits so I hope the back order trend stays true and we get our phones soon!
Ordered the 7+ 256jet black on att as that is the one I really wanted as soon as the site let me in time stamp on confirmation email says 2:54:49 est. I then place an order for matte black 7+ 256 at around 3:25 am est with Apple and my matte black will be delivering tomorrow. I hope so too. I'm just happy to see that at least my order has been recognized by the system. And I'm REALLY hoping trends hold true. We can do this everyone! We've been (sorta) patient (haha not really) and our time is coming!
