My journey on this thread has come to an end. My 256 matte black plus just arrived at my door an hour ago.

Heading to Apple store tonight...ATT still has a window today to send me a tracking number but I'm not holding my breath. Ordered 9/9
Agreed that AT&T is messing up this pre-order process, but in their defense they still have time till the 30th to ship the phones for people who the shipping dates were Sep 23 - 30.
Yes, it is a huge disappointment seeing others get the phones and us still waiting for it.
could somebody shoot up a flare when they see an Jet Black iPhone 7+ ship?! LOL

My 7+ MB 128GB iphone also just went to back order status on via *6737#. Ordered 3:09 am EST on 9/9. The ship dates are 9/23-9/30. I am in Raleigh, NC.

I've been lurking for a few days. Just wanted to share that my MB, 256 7+ has now joined the back order ranks. It was ordered on 9/9 at 11:00:07 ET. Salem, Oregon here.

Yep, me too. I checked at 5:30 ET this morning and it finally said backorder. It's now 12:20 ET and still no shipping notification. 😕
7+ matte black 256GB has shipped. Pickup scan from Fedex at 11:05am. Went to "backorder" at some point between 1AM and 7AM while I was sleeping. Just got the tracking info an hour ago.

Well folks my matte black 7 plus 128GB just went to back order so I'm guessing I'll be getting it soon lol! Ordered at 9:30am on the 9th!

For the people getting the back order text, when you call the order status number, what does it say? The text won't work for me and when I call it went from "processing at the warehouse" to "one or more items aren't in stock".
