read something about "animations in 10.2 are a bit better than in 10.1 etc....".
its not! its exactly the same. apple did not spend time in improving this.
if next years iphone and ios 11 are not going to be very very very well, i say goodbye apple and hello samsung. never thought i will think like this sometimes but android and ios are really even nowdays....

They wouldn't address it in a minor update.

You're gonna have to wait and wish for a fix in 10.3
Well its still an update why does a fix have to take months and why is a.1 release needs betas its just a hot fix doesnt need loads of betas for something that doesnt fix anythjng major

Every release has betas, just not necessarily ones that Apple releases to the public or even developers. Lately it seems Apple is more into releasing more of the betas out though.

I installed 10.2.1 and it's still the same.

Accept for when you bring up multitasking by double pressing the home button. If you do it from the home screen you no longer get that odd bounce animation. But if you do it while in an app then it still often does that odd bounce animation.

From the home screen, it has never bounced, so that's not new either.

I have a 7 Plus and it has never jumped on the home screen. Not even on 10.0

I checked a friends 7 plus and it didn't on theirs either.

Also a few minutes after installing beta 10.2.1 on my 7 during my testing there wasn't any bouncing at all even while in apps. I nearly made a post saying the bounce had been fixed but then it started to bounce again which is strange.

It's improved ever so slightly, it's still horrible though. Something is off with the new home button and iOS response time. If I turn off the triple click accessibility option, the animation for going to the homescreen is improved, but when I bring up the task switcher it's horrendous. If I enable triple click, the animation for going home is laggy but the task switcher is somewhat better as far as frame rate goes.

I got used to glitchy close animation. I noticed it instantly on using 7 Plus. Now I have gotten used to it and believe that is normal.
