It's a little bit better, but it's definitely still there. I just don't understand it, do apple execs not use their own products? Going from a 6s to this 7 plus actually feels like a downgrade in regards to UI performance. Random dropped frames, home button not responsive at times, horrible app switching/closing animation....etc.

No, it's not indexing
No, it's not an "exclusive feature"
No, it's not my phone, I've replicated the same issue on 4-5 Pluses.
No, it's not the beta, I've tried literally every iOS 10.x and it's still there.
Again, why on earth does my fiancés SE, my dads 6S plus and my coworkers 6S FEEL faster then my 7 plus?

I just open and closed an app with my brothers 6s and my 7(both with LPM, if that makes any difference) and my 7 was always faster, so I think that maybe the reason we are having issues is because the animation is playing to fast or it has something to do with the low power and high power core performance manager being bugged out

Nope. We already know why it uses a different animation, we just don't like it.

I just cant stand those random shutters, multitasking, app close animation and many others: notification bar, even Health app. This iOS, iPhone 7 combination is ugly. UGLY.

Beta 6 still the same for me. Close animation hasn't changed and general lag/stutter is still there. I'm not convinced any these betas have improved anything. Apart from that one (beta 3 I think) that slightly changed the close animation but didn't fully fix it.

When 10.2 is official out I'll restore and set up as new but I'm not expecting a miracle.

For those that are wondering what changed from 10.1 Beta 2 and 10.2 Beta 6...

I think it's obvious what's different. The jump in the animations move on beta 2 is bigger for me. Interesting that beta 6 ends later. Maybe they smoothed it, but it lasts longer now.

There's still a jump from slow to fast, but it's a couple frames earlier this time. I hardly doubt that makes much of a difference.

It shows that they at least worked on it a little bit. I think the BIG improvement will be in 10.3. I think by 10.3, they'll have it nailed down.

I still don't understand why they can't make all iOS devices do this.

I don't see how this could be a rendering issue, because older devices on iOS legacy (6) never had a rendering issue at all, and this animation was way more complex than the one in iOS 7-9. It's probably just a bad optimization issue in iOS 10 that Apple is having a difficult time dealing with.

Not really. It has to do with how quickly the iPhone 7 models respond to the press of the home button. Unlike other iOS models, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus begin animating IMMEDIATELY after the home button is pressed. It doesn't wait for the chance of a second press (unlike other iOS devices). If you do press a second time while it's animating, it changes mid-animation and goes to the app switcher. That's why they had to make the animation different. It's a completely different and new animation that is unique to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models only.

Well, iOS 10.2 beta 7 installed. I've been using this new animation for so long I can't really tell it's fixed or not.

I'm sure the animation is still different. However, the last beta SEEMS to make it better. Almost not able to see the difference.

Could someone make a video comparing beta 6 and beta 7? I think it's slitghtly smoother than the last iterations.
[doublepost=1481140881][/doublepost]No, after a moment I think it's exactly the same :) ********
