Carrier iPhone 7/7+ Preorder (UK)Three network

Also due for the 30th. Not had any update either.

With Three, no news is good news in my experience.
 
Due for 30th. I posted a few days ago that I called and the date, at that time, was correct. No communication from Three since though!
 
I wonder if they've had a definite conformation from Apple? Seems to be of few of us with a 30th September delivery, Three seem quite confident about it. Reading other carrier threads doesn't fill me with hope though, seems like EE and O2 aren't confirming the 30th for their customers.
 
There are shipments arriving into the U.K. All the time. I know this for sure as the father in law is quite high up in DHL and he said they are shipping a lot of Apple product.
Problem is, that product could be going direct to Apple stores/customers and not necessarily the carriers.
Three have been firm in the 30th since pre order day so maybe you are right and they know they have a confirmed shipment this week.
It seems to all be about the plus and jet black models though as 7's in other colours and non plus variants are no issue.

I don't know if you've heard, but the telesales team at Three received a large delivery of new iPhones yesterday; the upgrade team is expecting some deliveries in the next 24 hours. As of now, there have been no iPhone 7 Plus deliveries of any black colour received by Three from Apple in the past few days! Here's an interesting piece of info for you though - Three as a network is responsible for 40% of carrier iPhones coming into the UK - the remaining 60% is to be shared out between the other networks.

All of the above information was given to me by a friend that works in a management position at Three.

Interesting, thats a massive amount if you take into account Three's market share. I take it these new shipments must be the elusive black 7+'s!? I'm sure we'll know soon enough.

Half expect to be let down - that way if you're not it's a bonus, and if you are it's not as hard a blow.

For some reason Three seem to let people know one way or the other very late in the day. It's frustrating for sure (and they do know themselves much, much earlier in the day) - but it's no different to any other UK carrier.

All this waiting has killed the hype for me and I am now left wondering if its worth upgrading at all. I went into Apple yesterday to have a mess about with the 7 and I left very underwhelmed by it. It really didnt seem much different from my 6. Maybe an in-store 5 10 minute play isn't a fair way to assess the phone. I was actually a bit gutted as I have been looking forward to a replacement. One thing which did actually impress me was the 7+, I remember when the + first came out I thought it was crazy large as I had come from a smaller iphone to the 4.7" 6, yesterday my thoughts on it had totally changed. It didnt seem too big at all and the extra screen size was nice.
 
I have had the 6 plus and the 6S plus and love the extra screen estate. Wouldn't fancy going back to a standard size now as I am just so used to it.
I get what you are saying about losing the hype for it though as this extra wait has definitely taken the edge off it for me too. Having said that, only my brother has got his phone as all of my friends upgrading have ordered either a JB or a plus model so I haven't had any chance to play about with a new 7. I have quickly looked at the 2 black finishes in store and thats about it.
 
Waiting on a 7plus (matt black) here too. Ordered on the 09/09 and was told the 30th but could stretch to the 14/10 at the latest. I spoke with Three CS a couple of days ago and they told me delivery was still on for the 30th. The guy even checked something which i think was called a "delivery matrix" which stated the phone would be delivered on the 30th. Fingers crossed :)

Waiting on the same iPhone as you. Ordered on 09/09 at around 9:40am. From an earlier post of mine:

When I initially pre-ordered over the phone, I was given the 30th September as the expected date, but was also informed that date could slip to as late as 14th October.

When I called up in the following week, I was given just the 30th September date. I asked the rep if they had any other dates in front of them, and they said they did not.

The most recent time I called, the expected date was still 30th September, but I was told that was the latest date it would arrive, and that the iPhone could come earlier.

I'm aware I'm quoting myself a lot in this thread; I hope it helps, though.

The more similar experiences we're having when we contact Three, the better, I think.

Oh, lordie!

I've had a couple friends msg me to say they've had e-mails/SMS from DPD confirming deliveries tomorrow; one is 7+ JB 256GB, the other 7+ MB 128GB.

I've had nothing as of yet. I have the DPD app and nothing there. :-(

A quick check on Twitter reveals a number of people expecting deliveries tomorrow.

Hi guys, been watching this thread for a while and I had to sign up as I need to ask if anybody has ordered and received a 7 Plus in Silver? Seems like everyone is getting the black ones..
 
No active deliveries on the DPD app for me so I guess I am not getting anything today.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow and hopefully people start getting theirs today.
As for silver pluses, I am not sure or confident anyone on Three has received a plus of any variant.
