I had been trying to hold my cool and not call sprint, I would just chat them. In a few mins once I've fully finished my coffe and bake for the day, I will be giving them a **** of a phone call because this has gone on way too long.
 
Wow. I can't believe it. I actually cancelled my order again.

This time not because of the long delays but rather I want to re-order a different color with a different payment method. It will end up being much better for me at the end of the 17-18 months than it would have been otherwise but I got a $300 windfall I didn't expect yesterday so..... It's worth it to me to go about it this way.

And those of you with children, spouses or other family members with medical issues - I need to pop into this thread more often because it puts my irrational desires for the latest and greatest phones into perspective. Hopefully things go better for you and your families soon. I often ride my bike wearing a "Team Collin" jersey which is a small team in memory of a little boy named Collin who passed away after a long battle with cancer. I hope some of these new magic bullet cures come to light soon.

It's not a "magic bullet"... it's the culmination of billions of dollars, decades of research, and countless hours put in by devoted people looking to find a way to better control cancer and even learn to prevent it from occurring in the first place.

People aren't working 17 hours a day for 6 days a week, months at a time, omitting their personal time with their own kids to create a "magic bullet"... they're putting their lives on hold to try and make sense of one of the single most unpredictable reactions in the human body.

Waiting on delivery. Left a note on my door telling the UPS guy to leave the package if I'm not home since I have to work today.

TOP TIP: Don't bother with that UPS MyChoice Premium thing. It doesn't allow you to do anything but redirect the delivery to a neighbor's house. I called customer service and they said a note on the door is fine.

For people who get tracking today, this is how it should go-- a label is created once it leaves China/Korea, it appears. It flies to Louisville, and gets scanned there first, and once it departs THERE, it switches to In Transit. My label was created at 10:00AM yesterday, but didn't show as Shipped until 4:00AM, when it departed Louisville.

So the planes you're tracking on FlightAware are not your phones unless you ALREADY have a tracking number. Turns out I've been watching other people's phones for a week!!! :mad:

I did a full back-up of my 6s on my Mac, then reset and powered down my 6s (running iOS 10.0.1). Then turned on my 7+ and restored from the 6s back up I did. After that I activated the phone with Sprint through the Live Chat. Everything was back on my phone (texts, call history, photos, music, etc.) without losing anything. My photos app had already ran through faces on my 6s, and spotlight was well established. All of this transferred over as well. I played with the camera for a bit, put the phone on the charger, and went to bed. I have been up and about with the phone since 7am this morning...battery is at 97%. That's with my normal calls, texts, streaming music, and show the phone off to coworkers who are thinking about getting one. I have Apple Car Play in my car, which, connects through lightening anyways...so listening to music while driving and getting a charge at the same time isn't a problem. Hopefully, keeping a charge with some longevity continues, but thought I would share.

If anything it just makes me more frustrated for everyone who's still waiting. The wonders of Shipping allow this all to happen within 24 hours but it's still BS that so many of my friends' phones are still sitting in Asia.

If Apple would have just done a two-week launch window like usual, tomorrow would be launch day and they could have avoided SO MUCH DRAMA.

I agree. I know they wanted to take advantage of exploding Samsungs, but a little bit of honesty and transparency goes a long way. Most people wouldn't have cared if they had been told, up front, they were going to have to wait longer.

Imagine if integrity was actually a corporate Core Value!

She said thats impossible and it must be for another color cause JB are shipping October 8th. Tried to do some bargaining but she said i already had overnight shipping and that customer service department can only give credit. I also asked if I was able to cancel, she said yes it will take 7-10 days to get the money back into your account. She said plenty customers have cancelled and went into Apple Stores to get their phone. So I said basically theres nothing else to say then lol . Call ended

15 min later I get a UPS email about a delivery. BUT it was a free Tmobile Tshirt I ordered from tmobile tuesdays for my other carrier months ago.

Basically, I have to wait and I have a Tmobile shirt on the way. lol

Tried to do some bargaining but she said i already had overnight shipping and that customer service department can only give credit. I also asked if I was able to cancel, she said yes it will take 7-10 days to get the money back into your account. She said plenty customers have cancelled and went into Apple Stores to get their phone. So I said basically theres nothing else to say then lol . Call ended

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me that Apple would not have ensured a LARGE stock of JB 7+'s prior to preorder. They had to know a phone with a new camera system AND a new color would have been the fasted selling product they were releasing. That just doesn't seem to make good business sense to me.
 
I've been in the back lurking for quite some time. Hi guys :) It seems like no one has posted about JB iPhone 7's, instead they are mostly 7 Plus's. I ordered a JB 128GB iPhone 7 on 9/14 in store. My order number is or-pdpm-80452XXXX. This is all that I've been able to see on Sprint's website since I ordered: "Your order for the iPhone 7 Jet Black 128GB has been received. Our various shipment times based on order date are: (i) Ships by 10/7 if ordered by 8AM CT on 9/9. (ii) Delivers 10/19-10/26 if ordered between 8AM CT on 9/9 and 12PM CT on 9/17. (iii) Delivers 11/1-11/14 if ordered after 12PM CT on 9/17."

Also, my family and I just switched to Sprint from AT&T because the prices for five people and no unlimited data (which meant data overages every. single. month.) were getting ridiculous. What you guys have been saying about Sprint and their signal, prices, and customer service is scaring me.

same thing happened to me, got excited thought the tmobile ups alert was my phone
 
I caved. I reserved a phone at Apple that I'm going to pick up today. F-sprint... I'm done ordering from them ever again. For me this journey is almost over.
 
I just dont understand how there can be sooo many planes landing every night and no one has any updates on shipping just maybe 1 or 2 people. this sucks so bad I know it said 0ct 7th but its really looking like us JB people are going to be getting real close to it.

Sorry if this has been answered, but there's 149 pages of thread to read through :)

If you are currently on the iphone forever plan, do you have to upgrade and purchase from a Sprint store? Are there any other options? The Sprint store promised me a phone on release day, and now they say end of Oct. Not surprised with everything I've read here, on top of the standard service I get from Sprint.
 
It's ridiculous some of us are still waiting. The apple store by me has the 7 plus in stock. I was signing up for a new sprint account. Can I do that at apple and cancel my preorder or do I have to keep waiting?

Don't do it bro sprint is horrible just get a 6s plus for T-Mobile. I seriously may cancel mine and do that if it don't move by Friday
