Wow, well call me crazy. Mine still says the same thing. Wonder why my order status is stagnant.

yeah! It seems it may be a problem with the OTA download. I am trying again now with iTunes.
Weird thing is... I ordered two phones both 128gb 7+ gold and black. Sprint sent me an email saying " The gold has confirmation " and the black is "pending confirmation" ordered both 1:33am 09/09/16 PST. Seeing the same update change that everyone is talking about.
I tried to warn lol but don't worry, once you connect to iTunes you should be fine. I didn't lose any data and am now running 10. If you can't connect to iTunes right now however, then yeah thats no bueno...
I just noticed that I have the same update for my order. I wonder if Sprint has a clearer idea of when everyone will get their phones? I'm still desperately clinging onto the thought of getting my phone on launch day.
You've got a good chance. Stores get their own stock to sell in store, but it's not assigned to anyone until it arrives. It's kind of like getting on a waiting list, once they get one for you, they'll call you. So that's why in store orders don't get a tracking number. They just wait for the magic truck to arrive.
In my personal experience, if you're one of the first to order in store or arrive on release date, you'll get what you wanted. Especially if it's not the highest demanded model. Now that there's so many different models, it's easier to get the one that you want. Good Luck!
I have been following this for a bit. I have a 9/23 date for a black 7P 256. The status update says exactly the same as what's been posted with the exception of 9/23 as the ship by. Ordered around 4:30 am on the 9th.
I noticed Sprint has changed some of the shipping dates when you select "When will I get it?" on the preorder page.
I've been trying to figure out how the shipping was assigned. Seems 128s were given a 9/30 across the board on the 7P.
Somehow Sprint also put in a 128 Black 7P for me a few minutes before the 256 went in. The confirmation email on that one listed a 4:25 order time with a 9/30 date as well. I haven't seen any earlier date given here or on the sprint community page for the 128.
Unless I'm wrong (and I very well could be) Sprint assigned dates to devices right out of the gate. Makes me wonder if this is under promise or not. Just odd I can't find anyone with any color 128 7P with an earlier date than 9/30.
Not sure if these can be trusted or not, really just my 2 cents. Does anyone have a 128 7P with 9/23 as a ship by?

I got the same update. I order the iPhone 7+ 128GB Silver but I ordered 09/09 at 530am EST.
Just got of the phone with sprint order support. call them they can find your tracking number for you.
When was it telling you the phone would arrive? I ordered at 2:59 a.m., but the 256GB Jet Black Plus said 10/7 immediately, so I'm wondering if it would even be worth it.
i ordered on 09/10 at like 8 in the morning and mines is set to be received on friday and from the horde of responses it seems like sprint in general is just horrible with updating tracking information so hold out hope. we will receive our phones friday. at least all of us who didn't get a jet black one.
What I mean is, what was it telling you on your order status page would be the delivery date?

I suggested this. In terms of the Jet Black iPhone 7, Sprint was already assigning a 10/7 ship date from the moment the pre-orders went up.
