Holee crap....
Just for a little context, this is the latest attempt by Sprint team to rectify my 9/9/16 in store JB 128GB 7+ order that the store manager changed to MB without my permission.
Needless to say, annother email was fired off to Marci, this time CC'd to Marcelo:

Good Afternoon James,

I wanted to reach out to you and again confirm that we did order the Apple IPhone 7 Plus 128 JET BLACK (DM14-O-32321893) device you wanted. However due to the high demand for the device it is currently back ordered. So what that means is based on the order date the device will not ship out to you until 11/28 – 12/05.

I realize that this is inconvenient for you and I apologize in advance for this, but the inventory and ship date is out of our control, so we do not have the means to expedite this for you or else we would have. I truly appreciate your patience with this and if you have any questions feel free to reach out to Fernando or myself and we would be happy to answer them for you.

Thank You,

Curious to know your story... How did you find out your order was changed to mb? Did he ever submit an order for JB? When did you find out? When did u finally order JB?

So does anyone know if the rest of the orders for a jet black iPhone 7 plus 128 gb placed on 9/9 before 8am ct, will be shipped out today (monday)?

I know that this is easier said because I already have my phone but the majority of you need to cool your jets and stop visiting this message board because all it does is rile you guys up.

I swear, from an outsiders point of view some of you are total monsters. These stories of you guys proudly boasting of your 4th call to Sprint and boy did you really let this one have it! When you know damn well that it is absolutely out of their hands when you will get your phone... smh.

Get some patience and stop thinking about it. You are only making yourselves crazier than needed. It took me 20 days from when I ordered to when I received it if this helps any. It is exactly like my iPhone 6s Plus only the home button is diff and it takes better pictures. You're not missing out anything I PROMISE.

Edit: Sorry forgot, I ordered 9/10 in the Evening
•2x iPhone 7 Plus Rose Gold 128gb
•Received shipping Tues (9/27) night [I think?] and had the phone by Weds (9/28) afternoon. Next-Day Air shipping.
• Order Number was oy-mhso-80383XXXX

It's so odd to me to see people come on a forum where people are venting about their frustrations and complain about complaining. Seems like that time would be better spent playing with your phone that is exactly like your other one, but I guess.

Good morning everyone! Just to give some hope for anyone that ordered in store. I ordered the IPhone 7plus Jet Black 128G at like 3pm on 9/9 and I received the worth the wait email on 9/27 and then I received my tracking information on 9/30 at like 7pm. It was next day air through UPS but sadly I guess it didn't make the deadline to be there on Saturday so it is out for delivery right now. I hope this helps anyone that ordered around the same time frame, because it took 3 weeks to ship from when I ordered it and basically 2 weeks from launch date to have it shipped. Highly recommend whoever is having problems with not receiving any info about your device contact Marci. I contacted her and her team and they got back to me really fast and helped me out big time. They told the truth and were straight up with me, that's the kind of service that is much appreciated.

Ok I already have my phone too. BUT...why are you here in this forum?? I'm here to help anyone out in any way I can. Seems like you're here to preach patience to people. That's pretty easy considering you have your device. So I don't know how many I speak for but don't post **** like that here. Everyone is already as stressed as they need to be (which is another plus of this forum: venting) so kindly **** off.

So I went to the sprint order page and to my surprise i got a tracking number and it has a status of "Order Processed: Ready for UPS"...not getting too excited but it's a step in the right direction...

32GB 7+ RG
Ordered: 9/12
oy-shso-80411

803916***
7+ JB 128GB
9/10 - 8 PM
No shipping information yet. I am in the 11/11-11/18 "wave"
I have found myself coming here less and less because all it does is stress me out and not coming here keeps it off my mind throughout my day. But when I do come here, It seems more and more people have left the forum. It's slowed down quite a bit. I guess I'll get it when I get it. Hell I think I've gotten to where I only check the status maybe once a day now. This whole process was such a cluster**k. The fun is over. Now it's just a chore to deal with.

Omg. I ordered the same phone on 9/10. I still have nothing :(

I feel good about movement this week! As for this forum... it's informative it allows me to vent share my experience and unlike many things in today's world it's a bonding experience for those of us that are interested in the same things! I appreciate you all for your stories information and words of incouragement.

I'm not frustrated so much as amazed this particular rollout, one Apple has done many times before is beset with so many delays.

Either the production techniques for these devices is so much harder than any previous phone or the demand is so much higher they are having trouble keeping up.

Apple said they weren't going to report initial sales and now that I look at it, I see why. They weren't able to satisfy demand, there was a defunct shipping line involved as well as the fact that there were production issues with certain parts and certain phones.

what was your order number??

Curious to know your story...

A preorder was placed in store for a pair of 128GB 7+'s (one RG & one JB) and an iPad Pro on the 9th @ 10am CST by an acquaintance that managed that store.
The RG and iPad arrived on launch day the 16th, but as expected, the JB was out of stock and not expected to ship until October the 7th.
Checked in here that weekend, and that Monday, saw the reports here that JB's started shipping.
Here is an excerpt from the 1st letter sent to Executive VP Ms Carris the next day:

Flash forward to yesterday, the 19th.
On a web based information site, I saw that Sprint Jet Black iPhone 7+ preorders were shipping, so decided to reach out via phone to Sprint support.
The CSR was able to see my in-store preorder, and was surprisingly able to provide me with tracking!
Immediately, I was able to see that in fact, my iPhone had been delivered to the store!
About the same time I got a VM from the store saying my device was there as well….
I happily called my contact, and as I told him I see my Jet Black has arrived, he stopped me to say these (as expected) were on backorder, and that he had pulled some strings to hook me up and got me a Matte Black instead.
He then quickly advised me that he was in a meeting, and that he would call me back, which more than 24 hours later, still has not happened.
Needless to say, I am very disappointed.
I did not ask, or authorize my order to be changed. I did not say anything in our prior conversations to suggest I wanted this done or that it was OK.

And the 2nd letter to Marci sent yesterday after the notification from Daniel:

Greetings.
I am reaching out again to try to get this resolved.
I contacted you on the 20th, shortly after being notified my original in-store preorder had been changed by the Manager, Mr. Basil Mahmud without my approval or authorization..
I did get a quick reply shortly after my original letter to you from one of your subordinates, a Malaika Thomas from the Customer Advocacy Team.
Essentially, she had me going back and forth with that store manager, which was not productive. As I had voiced to her, I had severe reservations about negative consequences to me and my business, as Mr. Mahmud and I are part of an online FaceBook community where a majority of my business takes place that is fairly close knit, but also very fickle.
He kept calling me, pleading with me to just accept the incorrect device, and doing his best to make ME feel responsible for any negative consequences he may face due to this.
He also kept minimizing what he had done, and that I was being unreasonable, expecting to get what I ordered, repeatedly telling me it was "just a phone”.
Mrs Thomas was unprofessional, and unhelpful as well, playing on my fears. She repeatedly reminded me that if I continued to expect what I ordered and choose to escalate this, that there would be trouble for Mr. Mahmud.
She even went as far to suggest I was at fault for trying to order in store, and that I should have logged in at midnight or use telesales.
I think we can both agree that there are challenges currently to all three avenues available;e to customer, and I chose the route that seemed to have the most personal and human element, thinking I would get the best results.
After making it clear to Malaika that I intended to escalate, I then was contacted by Fernando Gandarilla a Supervisor for the Customer Advocacy Team.
I was still getting harassed via telephone and FaceBook messenger by Mr. Mahmud this entire time.
Mr. Gandarilla’s communication for the first two days was great, a welcome relief to my experience with Mrs. Thomas and I felt like I was going to get an acceptable resolution. After our initial conversation, and sharing all of my concerns he was even able to get Mr. Mahmud to stop calling me, which I appreciated, but would have ominous consequences I would discover later.
After waiting two days for fernando to call, as he was trying to locate the ordered device, I received an email from one of his subordinates, a Mr. Daniel Tucker, Executive Response Escalation Rep at Sprint Customer Advocacy Team (CAT)
He informed me via email that I should a expect a return kit for the unopened Matte Black 7+128GB I received from Mr. Mahmud, and additionally, that Daniel had ordered me the original phone from my order (which I missed seeing in that email, just noticed the return kit notification, which I was expecting after third conversation with Fernando).
The next day, the 29th, I received a second email from Daniel, again notifying me that a Jet Balck had been ordered for me, but due to my order date of the 29th, to quote the text of the email:

will not ship out to you until 11/28 – 12/05
Needless to say, I’m blown away by this progress.
I now feel that Fernando abandoned me as he could not deliver, handed me to yet another underling, and that now the phone i should have had between the 21st (when 1st shipment of September 6th preordered Jet Black iPhone 7+’s were reported landing to Sprint customers to the 7th of October, the original date Sprint said the earliest preorders would ship) would possible arrive nine to ten weeks late.
While i realize that Sprint is not the manufacturer, you did accept preorders and did give delivery dates.
As a small business owner, I cannot blame my suppliers if I sell an item and do not deliver on time. I am culpable. I expect the same ethic form companies that I do business with.
To add insult to injury, Mr. Mahmud has now shared private and protected customer information, revealing details of my business with Sprint in a vengeful, unprofessional attack (that is working, see attached) to harm me personally and my ability to do business in that community.
I eagerly await your reply and prompt attention is this rapidly declining and unacceptable situation….

This second email was also copied to Sprint CEO Marcelo. We'll see where this goes, but as you can see, this has gone far beyond what some here have commented that we are just self absorbed, impatient and entitled customers.
I've lost a few thousand in sales over the improprieties committed by a Sprint employee...

I got a reply from Joan This morning, I had a ESN with my receipt so she looked into it and those are the details she supplied me with, so even with a ESN she was only able to estimate, so I guess I'll just kick back and watch the forum until this Friday see if any of you guys got anything. Hopefully I get some movement this week. I ordered a 32GB MB+ 9/12/16 at about 1:30PM EDT.
