Carrier iPhone 7/7+ Sprint Pre-Order Thread

I ordered at 7PM yesterday. Haven't gotten tracking yet but CS said It will ship today and I will have it on Monday.

Actually....From UPS's own website:

"On weekends, UPS works Saturdays but not Sundays. UPS delivers UPSWorldwide Express®, UPS Next Day Air® Early, UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air® packages on Saturdays. Packages must be processed and labeled for Saturday Delivery. The shipper pays extra for Saturday Delivery."

UPS ships them Next Day Air Saver I believe.

I was wondering if anyone would know the answer to a question and save me another mind numbing experience talking to sprint. I have a give back kit coming, but my phone is paid off. If I decide to just keep my 6, what happens? I'm assuming I just won't get the promotional credit but I don't like to assume where my wallet is concerned.

Clarify paid off? Were you on a lease? If so, when you say paid off, did at the end of your lease, you do the buy out option to flat out own your device?

If you did the buy out option at the end of your lease, then you have no obligation to return it. Not returning it will affect nothing as they can't charge you for it since you already own it. You just won't get a trade in credit. I'm not entirely sure if the trade in credit applies for just leased devices or leased and customer owned devices.

Got my phone yesterday! Kept the plastic wrap on until my case arrives later today! Hate the home button. Also, I have been having trouble adding apple care! Some issue with the purchase date....

Sorry, I should have been clear. I was previously on a 24 month payment program. I own the phone. The 7 plus will be my first lease. I assumed I was under no obligation as my payments are done, and It seems like you've answered my question, so thanks man.

Be very, very careful. Not with the iPhone but similar experience.
I had an issue where they wanted a trade and I told them I owned the phone, didn't want to trade in. CS Rep assured me that I wouldn't have to and to just ignore the return kit.

Sure enough 400+ bucks showed up on the bill. I called again, told a second time not to sweat it, would be taken care of.

Stayed on bill. Threatened to disconnect. I called them and asked why I had to pay off a phone I already owned. They claimed i didn't own it despite not having been sold by them and they couldn't provide proof of their claim I owed on it. I had proof, I had won it and had the sponser email proof.

I'm STILL fighting it. April will be a year. I paid it to prevent disconnect, very dumb move on my part.

Just be careful.

I think I am the only one in this forum going from a 6s+ to a regular 7. I just want a smaller phone. Anyways, I ordered the 256gb JB 7 on 9/10 around 10am, and still nothing. Getting sick of waiting, by the time I get it the 8 will probably be just about out. Considering just cancelling and sticking with the 6s+ but the deal was so good. They gave me $100 off the phone and I can trade in an old 6 and get it for free. Decisions, decisions..

If you ordered the 256GB JB 7+, just hang tight, I'm sure you will be getting it very soon now that they have enough stock to fulfill orders with no backorder. They just gotta catch up.

Let me rephrase; UPS doesn't deliver Sprint iPhones on Saturday.

I would also suggest to wait it out but add an email to Marci which could speed up the process. You ordered way after some people whose original dates were after yours, have canceled and reordered the same phone YESTERDAY and received tracking. You definitely have a case.

I think those are people who ordered the 7+. I know I am in the minority but I'm going down to the 7 as I don't want the phablet size until they remove the bezel next year as rumored.

Yeah I ordered a 128 GB JB + on 9/27 and that's not shipping til late Nov-early Dec. On the order status page I saw it said Available Now. So I cancelled the 128 via phone order support and reordered online right away. Easy this time.

Just got off the phone with order support and the lady told me that I won't get my phone until 11/20 now. I ordered on 9/16 at 1:00pm CT.

I was supposed to get it by 10/19.

She has to be wrong. Someone, please tell me she's wrong. I've been waiting a month and now I have to wait another month. This can't be actually happening.

Don't listen to them, rely only on the MyOrder page. I have had Sprint reps tell me December, September 23-25, Early November and Mid October. I also don't have my 7+ either yet
