They're probably looking at the updated shipping times for NEW orders. This seems like BS, don't freak out.

They're probably quoting the estimated dates for phones ordered today not for your specific order.
Honestly, I'm not sure why people are still contacting customer service and expecting an answer different from what order status says. They don't have any additional information to give you, so please don't expect any. Calling is a waste of time unless you have a problem specific to your order.
For me, he told me he would call me when the phone would come in. I myself asked if I could get the tracking number as I was given this when I upgraded to my 6s in March 2016. All he gave me was the order number on the receipt of the purchase of the phone itself, the order number that begins with or-; this is all I had to go on from that point this past Saturday. I checked Wednesday and THAT's when there was a tracking number and it told me the order is on its way for tomorrow delivery to the store.
