For those of you who can't see your tracking yet on the UPS website but have a tracking number, check this. I figured out I'm getting my phone tomorrow. Mine was shipped next day air saver.

"A UPS tracking number, for domestic packages within the United States, will usually start with "1Z" followed by a 6 character shipper number (numbers and letters), a 2 digit service level indicator (e.g., 03 for GROUND, SEE UPS SERVICE CODES below), and finally 8 digits identifying the package, for a total of 18 characters."

List of service codes:
  • 01 UPS United States Next Day Air ("Red")
  • 02 UPS United States Second Day Air ("Blue")
  • 03 UPS United States Ground
  • 04 UPS Canada Express Saver (typically next day)
  • 12 UPS United States Third Day Select
  • 13 UPS United States Next Day Air Saver ("Red Saver")
  • 14 UPS Canada Express

I havent really seen too many posts where people were mad or contacting upper management. Most just seem excited that they might be getting their phone tomorrow i can understand that.
 
It is frustrating having never had an issue getting the phone at launch since the first model in 2007... Ordered from apple first at 3am but immediately had a ship date of Oct 17-31. Then ordered another from sprint to see if i could get it earlier and got the 10/7 date. Needless to say I canceled the one from apple.

Still waiting on an update for my 7P 128GB Jet Black.. 80348####.

Going to lengths of contacting upper management at Sprint all because our little iPhone's won't get here on time.

They're sold out. There's nothing that can be done. You will get your phones people!
I dont care so much about the phone getting here. I was more frustrated with the pre-order experience and the miscommunication with the reps...I made that clear in my email.

Mine is 13! Next Day Air Saver. Thanks so much for this information. I figured mine would be next day since I am SO close to Louisville.

Well, to each their own. I can understand being excited to get the new phone in and use it; I think the big issue is Apple's complete lack of having any sort of properly working system of pre-ordering. I understand they can't make enough phones for everyone right away, but when you can't even get the system TO TRY TO ORDER one working properly for customers then I can agree with the frustration. No company is perfect and none ever will; but this 2016 and HOW many launches has Apple had with iphones now along with other products? How many opportunities have they had to get this working better? For me, of course, I'm not upset about when I'll get the phone, I'm just more understanding of other's frustration when Apple touts the ability to pre-order these devices; they WANT this demand and hype and people clamoring for a chance to get one on launch day. In the end, this excitement and buzz and insanity is really the creation of Apple and sooner or later they have to be able to find a way to do better by customers when a new phone or product is released. It is what it is. But yes, its true some people really go off the rails but at the same time it can be hard to blame them. There's an entire world out there full of people that want these phones; that doesn't mean that Apple can't do better with these processes. Just my two cents.

7+ rose gold 128gb ordered 9/9 at 3:27am central time, I got tracking but it hasn't updated. Just says label created. Fingers crossed.
 
For anyone who preordered in store... Did they just tell you they would call you when it was in? Did you get any kind of order number? I am chatting with Sprint and they say they don't see my pre order for 7+.

Yes they said they'd call. I didn't get a regular order number, only the transaction number on the receipt. This was my third year preordering in store and each time I was told my order would come in with the stores shipment. I got tracking info about 2am today. I got the same email last year for my 6s.
 
I ordered two phones at 10am ..in store for store pickup. One of them got a tracking email and has been delivered to the store. Rose gold. The other has nothing. Matte black. Both plus and 128g.
 
Is that your order number from a online receipt? Mine was in store. Might be different for online maybe or even through apple.
Not that is order number from IN STORE. All I was told that he would call when it was in. No info about receiving a tracking number through email.

So I ordered two 32 gig Rose Gold. Got the tracking for my mom's phone, but nothing for mine. I ordered both at the same time, 9/9 5:00 am, CST. So annoyed! Her tracking was available at 8:30 am this morning and still nothing for mine. Ugh!!!!
