The down payment is for any option higher than 32gb with the plus models. I'm not sure if you maybe got a 16gb last year or the non-plus model, but you should have paid down payment if you got anything higher. I remember last year paying $100 for the 64gb plus model. Or what buckeye said, you might have paid a higher lease monthly. It does end up coming to about the same price.

Thanks, I did do the 128 last time and I traded in a phone for lower payments, I may not be recalling paying a down payment and maybe i did, it's almost 5am here.

It's only valid for newer/flagship iPhones and Samsung phones that aren't already being returned at the end of a lease, which sucks. I traded in a $35 LG Tribute for the bonus last year and sold my 6 Plus for more than the previous payoff.
Thanks for the info and the reminder. I forgot what the deal was last year. I just remember it being something awesome. And when I did the math and saw that I only paid $260 for my 12months of the 6S+ then I was surprised to see how much we came out ahead.

Figure I'll get IPhone 7 Plus and either return my Note 7 for a full refund or sale it after i exchange it for a new Note 7 whenever Samsung or Bestbuy get the new Note 7 in.

Ditto. Hoping it arrives before 9/30 but not counting on it.

For those who pre-ordered the Plus models in past years, have they typically arrived within a couple weeks of launch?
Don't trust the dates. I've ordered Plus models the past few years, and they always arrived on launch despite quoted delivery dates stating otherwise.

This past due payment thing blows.
I'm waiting on a chat specialist to respond. By the time they respond telesales will be open.

My bill is past due, too, despite being on AutoPay?

I also noticed this little gem that TOTALLY contradicts what a rep told me today "Eligible phones include iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Does not apply to devices already required for lease turn in or installment billing give back. After monthly service credit with 24-mo Installment Billing or lease for well-qualified customer with new line activation or eligible upgrade. Credit applied within 2 invoices after trade-in received."

Anyone know which it is?

Last year I had a projected delivery in mid-October and it still arrived at launch. So dont stress. And also keep in mind that the Plus most anticipated feature is the Portrait Mode camera option, and that is said to be out "Later this year". So everyone will likely get their phone before Apple delivers the goods.

Just keep checking back on that status link. It might adjust itself as we get closer to 9/16

Thank you both, much appreciated.

It has been "fun" folks, time to get a couple hours of sleep... ugh.

Good luck to those still trying to make it happen!

Alright. Well submitted two separate orders. When I check the order status, only one showing with a RMA return kit. So I guess they do not want my phone back? yea right. Ill end up having them send out another I am sure.

Anyone else see this on their order status page?

I finally was able to put my order through.

I got my 265GB Rose Gold 7 Plus ordered finally. 9/23 date. Wow did they fail hard at this launch! A chat agent said either lease option can be chosen by iPhone Forever customers.

I didn't get the Giveback Kit added to my order and I'm iPhone Forever. A little worried now.
[doublepost=1473417381][/doublepost]
The iPhone forever program is basically just Sprint's leasing program with a different name. Just select the "18 month lease" option and they'll send you a kit that will let you send in your old iPhone, and next year you'll be able to do the same thing.

I am iPhone Forever and chose the 17 month lease. I didn't get a Giveback kit added to my order. Did I screw up?

Does anyone here have an EPRP plan? I've been out of the loop but it's letting me go with installment plans. Will that change my plan?

Also anyone have the fine print on the free iPhone 7 with a trade in deal? Is there a limit? Has anyone done 5 phones and does a kit automatically come for the return? On Verizon they have a whole "check if your phone is eligible" tool before checkout but on Sprint, it says "you qualify for a free iPhone" and then asks to submit the order.

Didn't bother pre ordering. I will get it launch day at my store, much easier
Same Here Preordereding is Too Stressful I am just gonna Return full refund my Note 7 and get my iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Matte Black

100% people should call tele sales if they want a phone the 7 Plus is Delayed doldout for 30+ Days

Do sprint ship via UPS or FedEx?
I have always had UPS deliver to me.
[doublepost=1473426130][/doublepost]I didn't want to send my iPhone 6 Plus in but it wouldn't allow me to process the order if I didn't agree to return it I'm calling about that, as I choose to pay this phone off in 24 mth installments when I ordered it in 2014. This time I choose the iPhone 7 Plus 128 gb 18mth lease.

I don't understand why I have to return my phone. I own it and don't really care about the buy back. I can get more for my phone if I were to see it myself. This just feels wrong.

First post.

Question for you all. I had some of the issues you all described with the website at 330est when I woke up and finally I think my orders (three lines) went through.

Question: Next Friday if I want to go wait in line at a Sprint store, can I do that and cancel my other order (s)? I actually only want one next Friday...my other lines can wait. lol

Anyone knows the difference between the new lease options? There basically no info on whats different on them

I think it would probably be more hassle. They would have to cancel the order, and it could take 24 hours for the system to restore your upgrade to the account. I wouldn't do it.

15.00 per line plus your lease payment on top of your monthly plan.

There should have been an option to to keep the phone and pay the remaining of the lease or payment plan, or upgrade the lease.

Same here. I am sure we will end up having to call them and have them manually send one out to remove the charge from the account.

15 per line?

My pre-order/upgrade to the Black 32gb 7 was eazy pezy. Excited.
[doublepost=1473432851][/doublepost]
According to a rep on Reddit then Sprint is killing the "iPhone Forever" plan and just going with "Lease with 12-month Upgrade". That kinda sucks because I liked the "iPhone Forever" and "iPhone For Life" phone plans but I guess Truth in Marketing is more valuable.

lol. "iPhone Forever....for a year only". Classic

For those currently on iPhone forever we stay on it unless we change our plan.... From what I understand.
