Let's say I have a iPhone 6s I am currently leasing from them. If I buy it off, could I trade it in to get credit for the 7?
 
I think it would probably be more hassle. They would have to cancel the order, and it could take 24 hours for the system to restore your upgrade to the account. I wouldn't do it.

Same here. I am sure we will end up having to call them and have them manually send one out to remove the charge from the account.
I had already paid all my payments and I didn't have that option. I tied to check out with out checking the box but couldn't.

I wasn't on the iPhone forever plan because I choose 24 month installments which wasn't a lease.

Just ordered our son his first cell phone!! Gave him the choice of the iPhone 7 128gb as his Christmas present this year. (.. or he could go with the iPhone 6s with same gb, but still have $100 towards Christmas presents, or activate old iPhone 5 we have here, and hold off until iPhone 8 comes out to get that, and have the $300 for Christmas presents this year.

He decided on the iPhone 7... he wanted jet black, but since I wasn't willing to stay up all hours to order.... when I signed in this morning... he would've needed to wait until Oct 7 to get his phone ... he decided to get the black one since it'll be covered in a case anyway... so he can have it next week! We are allowing him to have his Christmas present early.... since last year, his sisters phone wasn't working, and she worked out the same deal, new phone as Christmas present, but since hers wasn't working, she got it early.

I activated a new line on our existing account, and ordered his phone without any problems. Bought phone with 24 month contract (I got talked into leasing last year... and I regret it, prefer to buy the phones on the 24 month contract)

Nice. I upgraded my teenager to the iPhone 65 in April from the 5s. My 3 other kids just got the iPhone SE 2 weeks ago as early xmas gifts. I wish I could say this is their first phone. It it's their first iPhone. I love to see their faces!!!! I'm so excited for him!
 
Just received email saying order is processing with estimated shipping date being 09/09/2017. This can't be right since Sprint gave me an estimated 10/07 date for Jet Black 128 GB originally.

Anyone else get email?

iPhone 7 or iPhone 7+? On my track my order page, it still says my I7+ will ship by 9/30.
 
For those Sprint subscribers on two-year contracts who purchased via Apple: were any of you able to ship to your house? Currently, I cannot select a delivery option because Apple thinks I need to make a deposit, which defaults to in-store pick up. Unfortunately, I can't do that either, since none are available.

Same. This was on the 7 plus Rose Gold 32Gb.

Can't be right. Shipping today? I doubt it.
 
I just pre-ordered my iphone 7Plus an hour ago (around 11 AM ET) and it's telling me the phone won't ship until October 7th. Do you think this is accurate or they just say that to keep us calm?

I had a similar issue. I pre-ordered last night right after the Apple Store went live but it couldn't connect with the Sprint system to verify my upgrade eligibility and just gave me a reservation number holding my pre-order position. This morning I had an email from Apple saying I could go ahead and complete my reservation order but it will only let me do in-store pick up which there is no inventory available in store. So I had to place a new order which did allow me to ship it to my house however the new delivery estimate is 3 to 4 weeks instead of getting it on launch day. Kind of frustrated that Sprint system crashed last night and didn't allow me to complete my preorder when orders went live.
 
I was able to upgrade my line right now - long wait since I got the 7S+ in the new black. Planning on cancelling though and waiting for the 7S+ since that is what I usually upgrade to. Currently have the 6S+.

What sucks is the wife wants to upgrade into the iphone forever program from my old 5S and I can't get the special offer online. I have to do it over the phone and the wait is forever.

My friend has ATT. He added a new line and ordered the 128GB Black Model. He said he just received an email informing him of the new cellphone number for this iPhone.

I hope sprint starts showing some progress with our orders.

Me too! Woke up immediately at 2:50 EST to preorder and got stuck on the upgrade screen till 4:30 ...estimated ship date of 9/30 really hope that gets bumped up

Same here..Did you find out why? No matter which plan I use it states to click the box to return my phone. My phone is paid for and I want to keep it.
 
so i preorder through sprint last night and was able to order the plus 128gb. i notice some people are able to view their order status but mine hasn't shown anything yet and says it takes 24 hours to appear. anyone else have the same?

I got to the shopping Apple store cart to be told that "Sprint may require a deposit" so I needed to select the in store pickup option. Of course there are no stores in my area that are available for pickup. Here's the rub:

I am NOT on an installment plan

I am OUT of my 2 year agreement

I'm a 17 year customer that was on the 2 year discounted phone upgrade cycle which has been discontinued according to the last rep I spoke with, and the "system" has no way to notate me as anything other than being on an installment plan. The Sprint rep even asked me if I had an older phone I could use so I could give this one back, even though she understood that I AM NOT ON AN INSTALLMENT PLAN!!

Sprint hasn't always been the best in terms of customer service, but my mind is literally BLOWN now. I can't even comprehend this.
 
Have been attempting to upgrade ever since 3AM EST. Non stop issues online and over the phone.I was finally able to submit my order an hour ago at sprint.com for a black iPhone 7 256GB, scheduled for delivery on 9/16

This is exactly my situation and being with them for 16 years. Why would I give you my phone that is in perfect condition (used my AppleCare last week and got a new one) to only have to trade it in when I paid full asking price.
