I find it funny that I have a past due notice when sprint owes me for charging me taxes on my old address and my current address. This has gone on for 3 yrs and I was told I was getting a credit next billing cycle for $324.67. Well I am also getting screwed so I can't preorder

Just checked my shipping status..and it says it will ship by October 7 :( ...im definately hoping i get it next week.

what's everyone else ship date?

Chatting online now with a representative about my order that went through. Apparently the 128 Plus model ships later than other models... and the 9/30 seems to be accurate.

where can i speak to chat? i need to get my account cleared

Finally got mine. 7+ 128gb matte black, 9/30 ship date.

A bit of a laugh at the end, there's a customer satisfaction survey popup on the confirmation page but the survey is mysteriously closed...

Ditto. Hoping it arrives before 9/30 but not counting on it.

For those who pre-ordered the Plus models in past years, have they typically arrived within a couple weeks of launch?
Last year I had a projected delivery in mid-October and it still arrived at launch. So dont stress. And also keep in mind that the Plus most anticipated feature is the Portrait Mode camera option, and that is said to be out "Later this year". So everyone will likely get their phone before Apple delivers the goods.

Just keep checking back on that status link. It might adjust itself as we get closer to 9/16

I honestly have no idea. A chat bubble just popped up on my confirmation page with a bot that said "How did your order go?" I decided to talk to the bot and it ended up bringing in a real human that I talked to about the shipment date.

are all leases eligible for the iPhone upgrade program? I can't tell which one to pick to remain on the upgrade program.

Just wondering, but did anyone get to see the details on that trade-in promo to reduce our monthly? Last year they gave us a big discount for trading in an "eligible device" and we were able to send in a qualifying $20 junky pre-paid Android phone. I blazed right past it so I didn't see if they're running that promo again this year.

The iPhone forever program is basically just Sprint's leasing program with a different name. Just select the "18 month lease" option and they'll send you a kit that will let you send in your old iPhone, and next year you'll be able to do the same thing.

Thanks for the Reply, they really made it confusing and last time I didn't have to do a down payment so didn't know which to pick

i picked the 17 months cause it was no down payment, but it was higher per month...looked like it evened out to about the same price

The down payment is for any option higher than 32gb with the plus models. I'm not sure if you maybe got a 16gb last year or the non-plus model, but you should have paid down payment if you got anything higher. I remember last year paying $100 for the 64gb plus model. Or what buckeye said, you might have paid a higher lease monthly. It does end up coming to about the same price.

It's only valid for newer/flagship iPhones and Samsung phones that aren't already being returned at the end of a lease, which sucks. I traded in a $35 LG Tribute for the bonus last year and sold my 6 Plus for more than the previous payoff.

According to a rep on Reddit then Sprint is killing the "iPhone Forever" plan and just going with "Lease with 12-month Upgrade". That kinda sucks because I liked the "iPhone Forever" and "iPhone For Life" phone plans but I guess Truth in Marketing is more valuable.

iPhone forever does have a nice ring to it.
