This is exactly my situation and being with them for 16 years. Why would I give you my phone that is in perfect condition (used my AppleCare last week and got a new one) to only have to trade it in when I paid full asking price.

This is absolutely crazy and needs more visibility.

So I'm having an issue currently with a phone reservation I got last night.

When I pull it up to finalize it, it's saying I might owe Sprint a down payment, and is therefor not letting me ship the phone, which is impossible considering I'm upgrading the phone using IUP.

I verified it's not a Sprint issue because I am able to place an order for a different phone and get the phone shipped. Apple support wasn't able to help me and pointed me towards Sprint.

Anyone else have this issue?

Is it a new line or account with Sprint via the AuP?

SUCCESS!

Just placed my order. Was originally going for a Black 128gb 7, but Sprint is offering the 256gb at the SAME price as the 128gb! Couldn't pass it up, and now I have successfully ordered a Black 256gb!

To my surprise, Sprint's website and my order confirmation says that it will arrive Sept 16, while other models/colors were quoted into October. Hopefully it arrives on time! :D

Have been attempting to upgrade ever since 3AM EST. Non stop issues online and over the phone.I was finally able to submit my order an hour ago at sprint.com for a black iPhone 7 256GB, scheduled for delivery on 9/16

Same here

Do the stores get different stock, or are they part of the backorder too? I ordered mine at a store at 11:27 am EST and the guy didnt say anything about a backorder.

I'm pretty sure you pay $200 and $100 up front if you have the iPhone forever. It's $32 a month for both 128gb and 256gb to lease. Btw when you guys say expected delivery do you mean expected shippement? Because online it says that the iPhone 7 will ship on the 16th. I ended up getting the iPhone 7 plus 32gb, black and paid nothing. Even got the installation fee waived.

Just received email saying order is processing with estimated shipping date being 09/09/2017. This can't be right since Sprint gave me an estimated 10/07 date for Jet Black 128 GB originally.

Anyone else get email?

I also got the email for the Jet Black 256GB. Hopefully it's not a hoax.

so if i understand it correctly i can buy phone outright from lease trade it in to sprint and get a bill credit for 26 dollars bringing down monthly payment on new lease for iPhone 7 plus

iPhone 7 or iPhone 7+? On my track my order page, it still says my I7+ will ship by 9/30.

I7+ 128gb
[doublepost=1473456031][/doublepost]Here is interesting tidbit that is giving me hope, when you go to the order status:

"Your order for the iPhone 7 Plus has been received and will ship by 10/7 if ordered before 8AM CT on 9/9. Your order will ship by 10/21 if ordered between 8AM CT and 11AM CT on 9/9."

Either they moved the Jet Black stock to the stores and didn't have any in stock for preorder OR 10/07 is a real under promising/over delivery date and we have a shot at an early delivery like 09/16.
[doublepost=1473456469][/doublepost]If I had to bet, they time stamp orders by 3 groupings currently and not to the minute like we think.

Gee idk, how much are you putting down on this phone? How much is sprint giving you back? In my case I had to pay $400~ for my 64gb 6s plus if I wanted to buy it but I didn't. I don't need it, battery life is already bad with iOS 10.

Easily the most frustrated I think I've ever been pre-ordering a phone. Currently on iPhone for life plan upgrading from 6S plus. I got up at 2 AM and have been trying ever since. Using the Sprint app and website, all I get is pending transaction and then it goes away and I have to start all over. No confirmation at all or emails since 2 AM. Anybody have any advice on this. Seems like last year I had zero problems pre-ordering and got it on launch day. I don't know what the problem is with Sprint, hopefully they can fix it in the next couple days.

Yea mine says 9/30 like the previous guy but I got an email from sprint like others have claimed and it says my estimated shipping is today so I wouldn't pay much attention to that.

Yes I did pay $200 up front. Monthly payments will only be $21. As far as delivery, my order status displays Delivery on 9/16 with a Ship date of 9/9 Since that is today, not sure how accurate that is. Seems like a pretty quick processing period.

I had the exact same issue. I ended up having to place a new order instead of using the reservation but it pushed my delivery date out 3 to 4 weeks instead of receiving it on launch day.

I work at best buy and the jet black iPhone are only available for pre-order through the website, but they were sold out when i first checked this morning (6am pacific) After work i went to my sprint store and ordered without a problem. Never order online its just a headache waiting to happen

Nope, iPhone Forever people can pick either the 17 or 18 month lease. The program doesn't actually exist anymore, but both the 17 and 18 month leases allow upgrades after 12.
[doublepost=1473469834][/doublepost]If you guys are with Sprint why are you ordering through Apple? Sprint lets you upgrade after 12 payments and has better monthly prices overall as far as I know.
