iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

I've managed to place my order using the Apple Store App.. all good.. delivery on 27th - 29th Sept....however, I've not missed a launch day iPhone since... well... ever. So I'm considering heading to Trafford Centre in Manchester early on Friday morning.

I /don't/ have a reservation... do we know if there will be stock for walk-ins?

I have an 8am reservation at the Trafford Centre but I'm not planning to get there much before 7.30am otherwise I could have let you know to save you a trip.

I can't see why not, and I have already ordered 6+ screen protectors form Anker, since no 7+ ones were listed when I bought them. So let's hope!
 
Has anyone received an estimated delivery date for their pre-order from EE? They seem very quiet on telling people when to expect it. All they're saying is we'll get a text the day before it arrives from DPD. Bleugh, the suspense!

The good folk at Apple said that I'm guaranteed to get what I ordered on the 16th. So that's nice. I'll cancel the other one once I can see that one of them is en route.

Flat mate ordered a 128GB JB Plus though, got the confirmation at 8.11am (same as me) and is stuck at 4/10- 10/10 for estimated delivery.

That's good. I always worry that "my" reserved phone will be sold by mistake. They guy in the store also said (I've reserved the 7) if they have enough stock of the 7 Plus, I can get that instead. (Although now thinking about it, I've already paid for the 7 so I guess they'd refund it and charge me for the 7 Plus.)

Umm nope, they all have this little sentence on them: 'Pre-ordering does not guarantee order fulfilment on the 16th of September'.

I wanted to at least double like this one! I'm on £15 unlimited 4G and will probably never leave!!!

When I wanted to exchange my 64Gb iPad mini for the 128GB in store. They created a gift card for the price I'd paid for the 64GB and then all I had to do was pay the difference in price (£80) between the 64 GB and 128GB. They can't sell your phone by mistake especially if you have paid for it in advance.

Had a few hours to think about my very order.... Not sure why but tempted to cancel the order. It's a black 7 plus 128gb, delivery next Friday. I also have silver one on the way from Apple directly.... i would prefer the black one, but somehow don't feel comfortable...?! Are we sure that very phones are 100% unlocked? Anyone in the same boat?
 
Interesting that KRCS and Solutions Inc are showing 3-7 shipping on all models (KRCS) and payment on September 16th for all models (Solutions Inc)

I looked at Sim only Deals but they didn't have enough minutes for me!

I caved in the end, partly as my parters 5 is constantly full, doesn't hold much charge and gives me loads of grief :D

She'll get my 6 with twice the storage and I'll get a Darth Vader 7 with twice the storage :D :D

I've got a fairly common 26 Sep - 3 Oct delivery, but when I was checking on the website I noticed that the black 7 256 is available for in store pickup on the 16th. Was tempted for a few minutes, but then looked at a picture of the jet black and decided to wait just a few more days...

It's still saying 16th for me. dont know why but I'm a bit worried it's gonna be locked to a network or something. Don't know whether just to wait for Apple to deliver one. Could there be any issues with buying one from very?

Have just ordered a iPhone 7 Plus 128gb in black and one in jet black from Solutions Inc with pick up next friday so we'll see what comes of it, you can pre-order and buy on collection so is a bit of a fall back option, still keeping my jet black 128gb preorder from apple and see which comes first...

Yes me. Have a jet black plus on order with apple with date 4-10 October and then one from very with date of 16th Sep. But slightly nervous about getting the one from very

Can you not ask them? Mind I still wouldn't take it as fact if they said they were truly unlocked. I always thought it was only phones direct from Apple that didn't sim lock, could be wrong like wouldn't be the first time:D
