Really wasnt going to upgrade as I went for 6s+ grey 128 last year but really fancy the camera upgrades. I love my DSLR but it often isn't with me. Low light. Faster. Telephoto. Yes please

Going for a black 7 plus 128 I think. Prefer a black front and always put in case anyway. Just need to look around for cases and glass protectors. Had spigen real cheap last year
Got a Spigen for 99p last year and I'm still using it, bargain!

Hi all,

After 2yrs with iPhone 6+ (64gb) I think I'll jump to the iPhone 7+ (128gb) Jet Black or Black, I am confused to which I should get, the Jet Black is sexy as hell but finger print magnet and the Black is nice but is not Jet Black.

I guess no sleeping tonight.

I'm thinking of picking up a case along with the iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black, does anyone know if the leather cases are durable? I've got a silicone case with my 6 Plus at the moment, it has been a great case and has lasted nearly the 2 years I've had it.

I had the Apple Leather case for my 6, the leather started to wear off at the corners

That's the usual time. If I remember correctly people using the Apple Store app had more success logging on once pre-orders became available.

Yeah I think I got on first using the app, was refreshing safari with my iPad on my lap. Its a scary few minutes, sad really :D

The Colour goes on the leather, my Brown one turned to black and my red one I've had around 6 months is now a dark red with Black sides. I'm gonna go silicon this time.

I suspect you're forgetting to factor in the upfront payment on phone contracts here - often quite a whack. SIM only normally cheaper, though you can miss out on some perks like EU data (for intance: EE only putting that in with plans including a phone it seems).

I'll be going SIM-only route and buying outright for the moment I think. (An easier decision when the carriers normally fail to release prices until after pre-order has started). That stupidity premium is awful high though - may nix any thought I had of upgrading the watch too (and/or some Bose QC35s).
O2 have better offers in store than online - last year I paid a £10 deposit for my 6S plus 128GB.

I think this may be the first year I have to opt out. The iPhone 7 plus in Matte Black is so damn tempting..

What time do pre-orders start tomorrow is it 8am in the UK?

Will be going for 7 Plus 32gb in Matt Black.

Music Magpie has offered £430 for my 6S Plus 64gb.
Thats bizarre - they are offering the same price for a 128GB !

Planning on ordering 128gb black via the app tomorrow; funds are available and no reason for there to be a security check but I remember people having that issue before, and by the time they'd sorted it release day stock of popular options had run out so 2 questions:

1) Will having it delivered to another address (my office) make a security check more likely? Would prefer to have it delivered there as not 100% sure I can persuade my wife to stay indoors all day on the 16th(!!) but want to avoid it being referred for a security check. I doubt that's likely but I can imagine there's a load of moody fraudulent purchases being made of what is an easily disposable fairly high cost item and Apple might be overly cautious.

2) I've not used apple pay on the store app before (I make most of my Apple purchases in-store), is it an option you need to enable? I don't see it anywhere in the settings.

If it doesn't workout with Giffgaff for me then EE have an offer of £20 a month, unlimited calls/text and 8GB of data.

Its worth looking again Dino![/QUOTE]

....£20 a month sounds very cheap - I'm actually moving to EE so may choose this sim only deal. So £20 a month for my airtime, and £599 for a Black 32gb iPhone 7, split over 2 years (via Paypal credit which they offer), is only £28.76 (includes the interest), so a total of £48.76 a month, doesn't sound too bad at all.

Gonna have to wait and see what deals EE announce tomorrow. If its a higher amount than this, or some ridiculous up front fee for the phone, then I'll be pre-ordering from Apple.

Will pre-orders last all day, i.e. I go to the website some time in the afternoon, is all the stock going to be gone?!!!

I ordered to my work last year and didn't have a problem.

From memory people had allot of issues with Apple Pay last year being declined, I just used my card saved in my apple account.

Anyone here staying up all night for pre-order direct from Apple?

Not much point if it starts at 8am.
