Is anyone else's order still sitting on the 27th to the 29th? I have my iPhone 7 Plus Black 128GB order still stuck despite being ordered at 08:02.
I have contacted Apple Support who don't have any more information but did inform me the method of payment can cause the order to not be processed.
This is my luck with Apple Pre-Orders! I haven't had a launch day order since the iPhone 5! :(:(
Yep... Same phone, same dates... 8:05 confirmation.

I'm in the same situation :(

Its a little frustrating. I am sure we won't be left out.

    Welcome to Apple.
What can we do for you today?

    ***@me.com:
Hey, I just had a quick question. I placed my order at 08:02 for the iPhone. However i noticed some orders placed at like 08:20 are getting moved up to the 20th but i am still stuck on the 27th?

    Apple:
Now transferring you to an Apple Chat Specialist. Please wait.

    Paul:
Hi! Thanks for contacting Apple today, my name is Paul.

    ***@me.com:
My mate ordered the identical phone at about half past 8 and his is 20th shipping too.

    Paul:
Great to hear that you’ve ordered a new iPhone! I’m sure that I can help with the delivery times for it here and at least have a look into that for you.

    Paul:
Just to check firstly, is it order W532012*** that you’re chatting about today?

    ***@me.com:
    Yeah that correct.

    Paul:
Great, thanks. Also just for security/data protection can you confirm the billing name and full billing address for your order please?

    Paul:
If it helps you can copy this from the ‘bills to’ section of the order confirmation email.

    ***@me.com:

    Paul:
That's perfect, thanks for confirming those details for me, I'll just be a moment or so while I have a look over your order.

    ***@me.com:
    Thats perfect, Thank you.

    Paul:
You’re very welcome and thanks for waiting, yes I can see here that your order is processing for dispatch in 6-8 business days and indeed for delivery between the 27th and 29th. Though in regards to a different order there may be a few reasons - payment, type of order for example that may make the delivery times different.

    Paul:
Would you happen to have the order number for your friend’s order handy at all and be able to confirm the same billing details and I can perhaps compare the two for you?

    ***@me.com:
I don't have my friends on hand at the moment. I know he had paid with Credit Card too.

    ***@me.com:
I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an issue with the Payment details that could hold up the order.

    Paul:
Cool no there’s been no real payment attempted just yet - there's only a £1 authorisation charge for your order so far - this is essentially just to check that your card/account is active but has been processed successfully.

    Paul:
The full authorisation will be made (at most) three business days before dispatch and the payment actually debited when dispatched.

    ***@me.com:
Okay, thats great. I am just worried because i thought mine would get pushed up when people 30mins after my order are getting earlier shipment dates.

    Paul:
Ah ok, I wouldn’t worry about that - all orders are dispatched in the order that they’re placed, subject to availability of the particular iPhone and that payment is able to be authorised and debited successfully. Even if you’re friend ordered the same iPhone but a different colour or storage capacity for example this one may just have been available sooner.

    Paul:
Though there are a few other possible reasons that may explain this if it’s completely identical.

    ***@me.com:
Thats fine, thanks very much for your help. I appreciate that.

    Paul:
You can even check this with him yourself - just the order number and his email address would allow you to view basic info about his order if your friend is happy to share this.

    ***@me.com:
I will do, i will ask him later tonight.

    Paul:
You’re very welcome! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the order status page for updates and a confirmed delivery date when dispatch though and there’ll also be a link there to where you can book a set up session as well.

    Paul:
And if we can it dispatched and delivered sooner than the dates on the order status page we certainly will and let you know with a shipment notification email but this can’t unfortunately be guaranteed.

    ***@me.com:
I will do, Thank you very much for the information. Have a nice day!

    Paul:

Mine was with Apple Pay... hopefully that doesn't come back to screw me. Initially in my wallet I saw a "recent purchase" to Apple for the full amount... but wasn't under transactions, now it's gone and no evidence of it anywhere.

Well, I did it.

I cancelled my Jet Black iPhone 7+ order after the reviews! Was due on Friday from very.co.uk (but who knows if they'd actually be able to deliver that!)

Well wife's iPhone moved but not my iPhone 7s plus 128gb not to worry

Bit of a weird thing, today I received my 7 Plus leather case.

I checked my bank and I have been charged for the iPhone but not for the case. In my list of transactions along with my usual transactions there is an £819 from Apple. So it seems like I've been sent the case but not charged for it.

Shh...

Seriously though, I expect it'll come out sooner or later, it's not something they tend to miss.

By Brexit - u mean currency fluctuation and that is only half the story.

Unit sales will be lower for the 7- so a price increase compensates for Apple. Also , they are more loath to jack up prices in the US, so would again compensate in their foreign markets , especially the richer ones where they have greatest market share (ie UK)

Have a look at the price increase for the iPad Pro 9.7 with cell and the Apple Pencil. That's not Brexit pal!
If you think Brexit didn't cause the apple price rises you are living in cloud cuckoo land. Historically pound is 1.5+ against the dollar now it's 1.25/1.3. It's been dropping since Brexit referendum started six months ago and then fell sharply after Brexit. Of course apple are going to put the prices up, our money is worth less now

I ordered a black 32GB 7 and a black 128GB 7+ through Three on Friday (about midday) and was told the 7 was due on the 16th. She gave me a later date for the 7+ until they put me through to accounts as my bank queried the two payments. The 7+ plus went through and the chap said it'd be the 16th along with the 7. I haven't had email conformation but have since doubled checked with customer care who have said it all went through okay. They've taken both payments (12/09) so I assume that's a positive thing for a launch delivery. Anybody had a similar experience?

The folks in the US have always been able to track via reference no/ area code etc but it's not the case in the UK.

I've been signed up to UPS my choice (I think that's what it's called) and get and email/text notification as soon as ups receive a shipment request to me. Nada on my JB + but given the early October date I really doubt it will arrive much sooner than that
Yea the UPS website works much better for them :/ but I do think it's still good news that they are seeing late September iPhones shipping already! Not just early but in time for launch!

Just spoke to someone on Apple chat who is adamant that orders are processed entirely based on order time, which is clearly untrue as we have seen in this thread. They refused to believe that orders for people are not being processed on a first come first served basis. He also verified that payment details was perfectly fine and no issues on that end.

Just received a text message from carphone warehouse and they've just said my iPhone is delayed till November 7th and they've credited my account with £20.

Anyone else who was also ordered the Apple Watch and their order is still processing? They've said it'll be delivered this Friday and nothing wrong with payment etc!
[doublepost=1473785263][/doublepost]Just checked online banking and the £399 is on pending transactions so guess everything is ok!

CPW pull that old stunt every year.

Get you on board for a quick delivery and then change it.

It's not coincidence that they do it, I'd say it's their way of doing business.

It's almost bait and switch and bordering on illegal I'd say, but I'm not a lawyer.

Set your alarms for 6.45, reserve something at an Apple Store for Friday and cancel your Carphone warehouse order...

What iPhone did you order?

I ordered a 128GB 7 Plus in black from them on Saturday afternoon and my delivery date was before October 7th.
