DO IT, I'm beating my demon this year and making myself adapt to the plusso here we go again... hasn't the last year flown by?!
I promised myself I wouldn't be back this year given what was expected form this years launch... but here i am..
i've also tried the 6+ and then 6s+ in the last two years only to return them as I couldn't get use to the size... guess what I'm tempted to go for this year!
Apple kept the same pricing as last year, so in a GBP silo the prices have not fluctuated at all. Absolutely nothing to do with brexit unless you are planning on converting your pounds to euros and then back to pounds before buying. The UK has always overpaid and if it wasn't for Brexit the cost for UK customers would have been lower (but still higher than USA customers). The pound has fallen since the Brexit vote, if we never voted to leave then the pound wouldn't have fallen so bad and even though we would have an increase in the models that were increased in price in the USA, it wouldn't have been as sharp of a rise as it is now.
I wouldn't be here unless I hadn't already talked myself around to it! ah well, have a good week or two to try and get use to it... Had decided that going without a case would help handling the size etc but reading the small print on the jet black make me worry the phone will look a mess in no time!DO IT, I'm beating my demon this year and making myself adapt to the plus

So what you all doing? Ordering for delivery or store pickup?
I've always done delivery but this year I'm going to reserve to collect next Friday.
What's it like doing it this way for the people who have done it in the past?
Can I just go as soon as the shop opens, or do I get an allocated time?
Yup, iPhone and Watch being ordered here.Yeah I did it earlier on! Anyone else going for the Watch too?
Start refreshing from 7:55am, whilst having a coffee and youll keep seeing the "sorry well be back" page then at 8:01 youll see the buy now button and then you can start adding.
Or add it to favourites and then checkout.
What i have noticed is that the fiest list of countries has increased this year then a week later more countries get it. Normally they dont release it so quickly across the world.
Maybe they have more stock this year as its a model using the same aluminium materials since 2014 so they can manufacture greater numbers in short space of time.
Lets wait and see!
I've favourited the phone I want, what do I do then once the store comes up at 8:01? (I'm using the mobile app)
The pound has weakened against most currencies, the $ mostly so. When the pound fell it fell to it's lowest level against the $ for over 30 years, currently the pound is nowhere near the level at was against the $ before the Brexit vote. This is partly why there is a huge increase in price in iPhones and other Apple items. Just because we voted to leave the EU it doesn't mean our currencies only dropped against the Euro, it dropped against many currencies (Japan even suspended trading against British companies in case investors from Japan invested in British companies that continued to fall in value because of the falling rate in the pound).Apple kept the same pricing as last year, so in a GBP silo the prices have not fluctuated at all. Absolutely nothing to do with brexit unless you are planning on converting your pounds to euros and then back to pounds before buying.
