I was about to ask exactly the same KrisLord! Any ideas guys?

Thinking I might just go hell for leather getting my iPhone order in first as they're more likely to have the bigger demand, and then ponder on through to the Watch sale!

128GB iPhone 7 Plus & Apple Watch (Sport?) with the black nylon strap!

so rationale for trying the + size again this year is mainly based on the rumours that next years release will be the big redesign we all really actually want.

I'm assuming

1) the bigger of next years phone will have a killer feature that won't be on its smaller sibling.
2) if they do go bezel free and shrink the casing and keep the big screen, a year with this years + size might get me desperate to get back to a more manageable size!

Wait but are you getting the plus this time?

Pfft I'm in work for 6am, just hoping that I can get someone else to lifeguard at 8:01 so I can duck into the office and place an order!

Can you not pop for a 'wee' at 7.55!

Just download the Apple Store app and order it from there.

Yup, iPhone and Watch being ordered here.

Any thoughts on whether to order as one or separate?
I'm going separate. I am less desperate to get the Watch on launch day, and I don't imagine it will be as popular anyway. If you order separately there's less of a chance for the Watch to mess up the order somehow.

Both Vodafone and EE have taken their stores down. I wonder if they will have them up before the pre-orders so people can see the plans.

Did I hear someone say that it will be possible to cancel a pre-order with Apple, tomorrow morning as well?!

What's to stop people from putting in a pre-order and then waiting for the networks to release news and then cancelling their original pre-order if the networks have better deals?!

7+ 128GB jet black and a series 1 watch (I don't need GPS or water resistance, and the pricing on the phone is higher than I expected)

I'm also getting a case for the phone. One perk of the increased prices is that accessories now qualify for free delivery, I don't recall they did previously if ordered separately.

So I'm probably ordering iPhone, then watch, then iPhone case as 3 separate orders.

I was wondering the same. Get paid on the 21st so would like to pick it up then.

You have to pick it up on 16th otherwise someone else gets it

Best thing to do is wait till 20th and use the Apple reservation system and get it reserved to pick up on 21st (thats if Apple do the reservation system like last year)

Think every day around midnight or was it 10pm they had a reservation system and you could reserve for pick up next day!!

Yea, you're right EE has the "Something big is coming " splash page! I really can't see the networks offering a better deal than pre-ordering directly from Apple...... The network will want a huge up front cost for the phone along with a hefty monthly line rental.

I'm planning on pre-ordering from Apple and then just getting a SIM only deal from EE - they have a good 4G plan for £20 a month with 8gb of data and everything else is unlimited.

For those buying the phone outright and may sell it for the iphone next year. Is it wise to pay an extra £119 for applecare+ ?

Can someone help me here, have searched... but not found anything.

I am thinking of moving to a 7 plus, from a 6, then a 6s.... was wondering how the 6 and 6s pluses handled displaying unoptimised apps that were built for either 5 or a regular 6?

From what I remember when moving from 4s to 5 the apps were pretty ugly until developers redid the apps for the bigger display... in honesty I can't remember the same issue from 5s to 6.

Is it a non issue now?

Any pointers to read up on it would be welcome

Over the past few years its been cheaper to buy the phone outright and get a really good sim only deal. I currently pay EE £19 for 16gb and unlimited minutes - watch out for these silly deals they have every now and again!!

The pound has weakened against most currencies, the $ mostly so. When the pound fell it fell to it's lowest level against the $ for over 30 years, currently the pound is nowhere near the level at was against the $ before the Brexit vote. This is partly why there is a huge increase in price in iPhones and other Apple items. Just because we voted to leave the EU it doesn't mean our currencies only dropped against the Euro, it dropped against many currencies (Japan even suspended trading against British companies in case investors from Japan invested in British companies that continued to fall in value because of the falling rate in the pound).

The price rise the UK is seeing is very much to do with Brexit, that is why other countries are not seeing an increase to scale as the UK is.
I never said the pound has only dropped against the euro, but thanks for trying to give me a lesson in economics.

What I am saying is the price of the phone in pounds is exactly the same as last generation. So I have no idea why it is being mentioned here.

Not worth it warranty wise as we get a much better deal here. For accidental damage part if you already have mobile or home insurance just stick with that.

Yeah its definately worth it for extra peace of mind!! If you dont have insurance with your home or bank then get it.

I had AC+ on my iPhone 6S plus since last year.

Today as i was sending my phone off to sell I called in to cancel it and i got refund of £61 so thats basically half of it back.

So its good to have and also easy to cancel.

It's not, there has been increase in price, particularly on the plus model.

I've finally made my decision and i'm not going to preorder tomorrow. I just can't justify spending so much more money this year. My iPhone 6S Plus is the best phone i've ever had. Also I get through a load of cheap headphones (£6 Skullcandy Ink'd 2.0), probably 4 or 5 pairs a year. Having to buy lightning headphones when I lose the adapter would really annoy me as they will cost a lot more.

I've managed to get myself on a crazy plan with three. Was on the £15/month for 200mins unlimited texts and data. I threatened to leave and they ended up offering Unlimited everything and 12gb tethering for £20/month. Never plan on giving that up.

Hope all goes well for you lot tomorrow. I have a feeling that people won't have an issue pre-ordering after the last two years I can't see the demand being high in the UK especially with the steep price increase and the loss of the headphone jack.

Unoptimised apps work well on 6s+ to be fair you cant tell difference.

The main Apple apps such as email, safari, imessage, calculator etc they are fully optimised e.g. When you tilt it in landscape you see more information and its much more productive.

Twitter supports landscape too on the plus models.
