Going for the matte black myself! Looks just as nice in my opinion and Apple have said the Jet Black is prone to micro abrasions over time!
I love the jet, but it just seems so likely to scratch :/ and I know that would annoy me so much like it did with the old iPods. So that's why I'm going for the matte, but if you can deal with light damage (even when using a case you'll still see hairline scratches!) then I'd hands down go jet!

If you are buying outright use the App Store app to make your selection/s ahead of 8am; since it's too early to add to bag add to favourites in the interim. Make sure your primary payment is set up & you are good to go. Come pre-order time, just add to basket & pay
Hating myself right now, literally can't decide on wether to get 7 or plus. had the 6 for two years now, did always intend on going plus this time, but damn those price increases are hard to swallow i wasnt expecting it to be that bad! I can always go PLUS and then if i don't like it i have 14 days to return right?

Hey does anyone have an idea how the Upgrade Programme will work with pre-orders?
When it gets to 8:01am and I push Add to Bag will the option be Pay with credit card and thats all?
Reading the iPhone Upgrade Programme page it says 'iPhone Payments only available in store' does that mean I cannot join the upgrade programme unless I go to a store when they have stock?

Tempted on the jet black. It must be bad if Apple saying now that it will scratch. How will this affect the hand back if going for the upgrade program though?

Can't imagine there will be a problem since, as you say, Apple are admitting that it may scratch.

They are but haven't said what the return conditions are beyond "good"...they are only saying his will get scratched, but not that they'll accept it back scratched, that's my concern.
