iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Evening all!

My Plus 128gb Matte Black iPhone still stuck on 27-29 September but not too fussed about that! I'm just happy it's in September and not October like some poor other poeple!

My watch should be here on Friday but it's still stuck on Processing! The money has come out of my account though so hopefully Friday is still on for me?!

YMMV, but I wouldn't bother trying it if you're hoping it might move you into the 20-22nd boat. Personally I had to do it as the app ignored my careful attempt the day before to confirm my default delivery address.


EDIT: I'm away on the Eurotunnel for nice road trip on Weds 28th - two weeks today - and would really like a new 12MP dual-lens camera in time for that!

I'm flying out to San diego on the 27th and was really hoping to get mine before I go!
 
I think I'm going to give myself a day off thinking about this tomorrow (Thursday) & come back for some shared excitement on Friday AM instead.

Nothing miraculous is likely going to happen to my preorder, the Very business collapsed in on itself as we all anticipated, and then John Lewis turned out to be a bit of damp squib after all - I had high hopes for them after they sorted me out with a Pencil when you couldn't find one anywhere. Ho hum.

Realistic next best shot for a non-carrier order is when Apple reopen their in-store reservations on Saturday AM yeah?

I changed the delivery addresss to my workplace, as from the 19th to 26th September I'm away in the Lake District and would be unable to sign for the delivery at home, risking the phone being sent back to Apple and losing it getting earlier.

Ahh that is interesting, same model as me, but one minute earlier, I was 8:06. Funny how changing the address made the order status update. Makes me more confident that my 27th estimate will change soon. A delivery on the 20th-22nd would be so much more convenient for me than the 27th

It won't say Preparing for Dispatch because your phone won't be sent to the store individually. Rather, your phone is a reserved allocation from the batch that Apple are sending to that store. And I don't think they want to give you the tracking number for a whole batch of iPhones! ;)
 
Waking up at 6:40 is taking its toll when you go to sleep at 3 every day, please can MK just have a 128 7+ black tomorrow morning so i can be done

All of this actually reminds me of the situation we had with some Watch models (e.g. Space Black stainless steel). Shipping was significantly later than all other models and was absolutely no stock in stores until after people started to receive the deliveries.

For those relying on reservations on Saturday morning, I wouldn't waste your weekend lie in on trying to get a black plus model (if nobody has had delivered on Friday). Obviously the stock is just not available yet in this country. As per my previous post I'm reckoning people who have ordered through carriers will be disappointed also. Stores will likely get some stock once the models flow into the country and pre-orders are being fulfilled - but not before.
 
All these black 128GB Plus orders getting bumped to 20-22 yet I got my confirmation at 8:04 and sitting at 27-29 still :(

Dispatched emails for my Lightning head phones (spare pair) and iPhone 7 Silicone Case - (PRODUCT)RED (ordered this evening for JL phone I was hoping to get, but didn't)

Both sent via Royal Mail with a delivery date of 19th for both

Been following this thread with interest for the last few days and here are my thoughts fwiw:

1. Apple imo should have mentioned at the keynote that the black phones would have a slightly later release date; people would still have ordered them but their expectations would have been managed fairly.

2. I would now be very wary about rushing to get hold of a JB phone when they start becoming available. I have first hand experience of apple 'rushing' to ramp up production numbers when I previously got a launch day phone whose screen wasn't bonded properly...there's nothing worse than getting the phone in your hands only to find it's not built properly because it was rushed through to meet demand!

3. I love the look of the new black phones but I'm just too worried about them looking tired and worn very quickly. I hope I'm wrong but fear stopped me opting in.

I have pre ordered a 128gb 7 in silver this time (I currently have a space grey 6 plus which I now find to bulky for everyday use).

Here's hoping apple are able to 'surprise' more people on here with earlier delivery dates and that people get the phone they want soon!
 
Hi all! I ordered a Jet black 128 GB at 8.11 am (wouldn't load at 08:00am) and I'm still on processing items with delivery between 26th September - 3rd October.

Seriously considering changing the address to city centre work one instead of home one. Bit risky at this stage no?

If you have a legitimate reason, then why not? Unless you work in a remote area like middle of nowhere in Scotland I wouldn't advise it.
 
Anyone using Carphone Warehouse?

My friend ordered a Silver 7 128gb a couple of days ago from Carphone and got her dispatch email and tracking code at 9:30pm. My black 7+ 256gb ordered at 8:05am on Fri is still waiting for any update.

Their customer service is rubbish and can't tell me when to expect it :(

I live in Manchester lol. I'm available on the dates I just thought that if I changed it to a city centre address rather than my home one it would be bumped up to 20/22nd like some of the other guys on here
 
Not posted here for a while but here we go.

Ordered via the Apple Store app, Black 7 128GB with black leather case, wanted the Plus but wanted handset before October due to holiday.
Already have the case, received yesterday via DPD, phone is coming on the 16th...no dispatch email as of yet but I'm not expecting that until tomorrow.

Just updated the wording on my delivery address and I've now shifted from September 27-29 to September 20-22 (black 7+ 128GB). Thanks for the tip! (Now I just have to hope it arrives on the 20th as I'm leaving that night for a month).

Exactly the same model and dates here :( hopefully we will get the bump, I think it is likely we will
 
I'm considering changing the delivery address to a friends office who will sign for me.
Is this wise? Mine is still 'order processing' and I'm 90% sure I won't be in on the 20/21/22.

Does it affect anything on the payment side or shall I leave it to chance?
