UKMail were a shambles for me with the iPhone 6 release... said they'd deliver til 8pm, which saw me waiting at work til 8pm and nothing. Phoned up Apple to see what was going on, and they weren't too happy with UKMail either.
Bought the 6 the next day at Leeds Trinity store, and got a refund on my pre-order when it finally arrived on the Monday.

Just got a notification for tomorrow from DPD - must be the phone (ETA: black 7 128gb), as the case arrived on Tuesday.
Re: all this date shifting when you change some details, it is likely a glitch of sorts. In the background your order has probably already changed its expected date, but the site hasn't updated. When you change some details, that filters through various systems, and a response comes back up the chain along with the "new" date (which probably wasn't new at all, just unseen). Nonetheless there's probably no harm in trying.

Just added the county to my delivery address and got the date bumped from 27-29 to 20-22. Yay! iPhone 7 Plus, black, 128GB.

I agree, even after a week or two you'll be able to reserve one with ease online for next day pick up.
DPD delivery for me as well, have had UPS deliver every iPhone since the 3GS and I hate them.

You'll get a little map appear in app and on website once you get your 1 hour delivery slot in the morning.I've got DPD confirmation too for my 128 plus silver.....for those of you who stalk the driver, how do you do this??
