iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Just got a text saying it will be delivered tomorrow by DPD which I love because they give you a 1 hour delivery window first thing. My Apple Store order does still say "Preparing for Dispatch" but I guess that'll update later. My iPhone is currently in Leicester according to DPD.
 
Resigned to the fact now that my 7+ 128 Black isn't arriving tomorrow.....and ain't that hopeful for the 20/22 window either in all honesty!

How odd.

My county was filled in already on the order as 'Lancs' I've just changed it to Lancashire and it immediately changed the delivery date to 20-22 from 27-29...

You got lucky then. You're not the majority. Depends what configuration you wanted too. My girlfriend has a launch day reservation but that's because she got a rose gold 7 which has been in stock most places all week. Anyone wanting a black Plus was pretty much screwed.

I think stock for the black plus has generally been limited not just via IUP

Tried Changing Warwickshire to Warks and it just reverts back to Warwickshire and the date doesn't update. That means my 128 black 7+ has shipped right? right? RIGHT?
 
Looking at my DPD app, mine is in Leicester on it's way to my local depot in Bournemouth for delivery tomorrow. Going to check the motorways now and keep an eye out on the traffic. If i hear there has been an incident and a DPD van was involved i'll be mortified!

Yes but prospective IUP customers had less of a chance because we only had in-store reservation stock available to us, which had all been taken up by pick-up orders by the time the iReserve site came up. They seriously need to split the stock up next year, and start building units way, way farther in advance.

At the weekend people said 'oh very orders will be fine... if you have a delivery date you are ok.. they won't lock...

Just think about it: Why would Apple not have stock but other suppliers... Doesn't make sense. For that and for the uncertainty about locking phones I decided to cancel my matte black 7+ I have ordered. Thankfully I kept my silver one alive at Apple which will be delivered tomorrow.
 
Are DPD the ones where you get an hour time slot and you can track where they are on the website?

If Apple don't have any stock for launch how did you expect very to have them? They clearly expected they would get stock, Apple have totally screwed us over with lack of stock

Hardly the fault of very there's no stock. I ordered with them as a bit of a punt but I didn't cancel my Apple order either.
