Slightly off-topic but there are few better ways to start the day than your other half texting "Morning, I've just got you an Apple Watch Edition from Selfridges"!
So I paid DPD for an upgrade to deliver between 0830 and 1030 this morning.
Just received my message to say it will arrive 1039 to 1139. I shall be expecting a refund...

Mine at the depot with DPD. Still no text. Normally, if i get a text by 9am i get it in the morning, by 10am its the afternoon. Bet your its this afternoon as although I work from home I have a big important conference call from 2-4pm. Still I'll just have to mute the phone for those cries of "It's here! It's here! It's Bloody here!"

They had mine stored however, they are in my keychain so would have only had to drop down. I knew the stock would be limited so wanted to minimise the process.

I wasn't even aware DPD gave that option, interesting - yes I would be unhappy too had I paid for such a service.
Just read back the last few pages and I cannot see anyone who is expecting deliveries from DPD with a time slot text or anything. Perhaps we won't get one.

That's the same for both my orders.
I don't usually get a delivery slot from DPD until after the morning rush, it was about half past nine for the case on Tuesday. Nothing so far today. Don't panic.
ETA: Failed upgrades sucks, though I can't say I'm surprised, they'll be super busy today!

Never had a DPD delivery where I haven't been given a time slot. So I draw the conclusion that you always get one!
All DPD deliveries get a one hour time slot. Or am I misreading and you mean might not get a text?

I have my Apple Watch being delivered too. I may swap it for a edition or a Hermes next week but first I want to check them out. I have to say I like the Hermes custom watchfaces and straps. I know they are stupidly over priced but even the edition doesn't have anything other than the material different so interested to see...
Indeed, you can do it via the DPD app in the Upgrade section.
