I suspect they will send out over the weekend or Monday and then start arriving Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

Haha, yeah, I'm a bit apprehensive of cancelling anything. But I have an EE order to cancel, one from Carphone Warehouse, another site that said they'd have it within a couple of weeks, Apple themselves and now these 2. If I don't cancel a couple of these then I'm going to be in trouble
I used Apple Pay but just remembered I factory reset the device before sending it off to Envirofone... probably disabled that card...20 minutes on hold to Apple about failed Apple Pay payment... wonder how many people used Apple Pay?
Just got off the phone to Apple, my order is back to processing but he says within 24 hours it'll be on preparing for dispatch! Had exactly the same with the Apple Watch last week!

Just had an issue with my Apple Pay payment for my 2x iPhone 7 Plus 256GB.
Order status page popped up with a red update your payment details thing, I updated to use my credit card, said payment successful.
Then got a text from HSBC saying fraud detected, called HSBC to confirm. Banks says Apple will have to retry payment again.
Damn it, my order status still on processing for 20th - 22nd.

When my payment for Apple Watch got delayed because of an Apple Pay problem, it was soon sorted and didn't delay my delivery date at all. Just had to sort it out again with Apple over the phone for 7+ and delivery dates are still the same, you'll be fine.
Well I'd love to talk about the 7 plus but I haven't had a chance to use it yet as it won't restore from back up. After wasting 3 hours I've had to wipe it and start all over again and it's telling me it's going to take an hour and that doesn't include downloading all the apps.

thanks, i tried web chat with apple, they said the system will retry payment again.
Does the phone staff do anything different to speed it up?
my Black iPhone 7 plus 128gb scheduled for 20-22nd September is now preparing for dispatch too, but the money hasn't gone from my credit card. Paid with Apple Pay and the pending transaction appeared for a few days and then disappeared, but since status has changed no payment has been taken.
Should I be worried or if it is in the Preparing for Shipment does that mean they have taken the payment it just isn't showing yet?

Nope, same people I'd imagine! As I needed to give card details they told me to phone when I spoke to chat. They can't take payment details over the online chat apparently!
