iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

My iPhone 7 plus in black 128gb is also preparing for dispatch. Good bloody job I increased my card limit when I did!

So far everything is going smoothly!

So excited, yet I'm away on Monday for a week and won't be able to play with the phone until Monday the 26th :( boooo

*To anyone who has received their device* Is there a screen during setup that allows you to update to 10.0.1? As I think I have seen a post somewhere else where it looked like they were updating during setup

Not that I saw, mine is on 10.0 but is still downloading all my apps, taking aaaages on a 200mb line and AC Wifi

No set up as new phone and then update via settings. Then restore after that.

Yup!

It comes after you ask it to restore from a backup from a higher iOS version. Unfortunately for me, that reset my restore request, and after installing it, it just booted and setup as a new phone - but that didn't happen for someone else in the office, so I think something just went wrong server side.

I had this issue as well, I just reset the phone back to factory and took another attempt, it worked for me after.

Interesting! I've literally just now placed an order for the same phone - delivery as 'november' purely on the off chance I get it within the 2 weeks return period. I do like the white but fell in love with the jet black I saw earlier. Also going to try for reservations in the morning

I'm using their app API to build it. It's too delayed/cached to be useful for notifying, it's just a rough idea of when stock is coming and going.

Yeah. I may have gone a bit overboard over the course of the day. One of the John Lewis ones was cancelled automatically anyway. Would like to change the delivery location on the one that has held (now processing and showing on my card) but I don't want to temp fate and risk losing it somehow.
 
Must say, is anyone updating their iPhone 7 and the back is getting hot?

I'm not playing with it but it is charging and I've just went back to it 20min later and it's still warm/hottish

Anyone else getting this?

can't believe it.

checked my order and it was awaiting payment....

So I go on update details and it fails constantly, try a different card, nope, nothing.

So I noticed ship address has a county in and bills to doesn't so I add that, now my order is back to flipping processing!!

gutted! seems like I have missed the window

Same here. Had to call apple with card details, now gone back to processing. Seems that apple pay has been the problem.
