Hi All,

Just collected my Jet Black 128GB 7+ from Vodafone.

They do exist!

Well done 'chosen one' lol!

I have an option that switch from EE to Vodafone via my work for a great corporate sim only deal at £5 a month with loads of data and unlimited calls and texts. Only thing stopping me currently is they don't do visual voicemail (unless it's changed since I last checked) and my work iPad just switched to Vodafone it seems a slower network the EE

I am EE for my phone and Vodafone for my iPad. I agree Vodafone is slower but oddly enough, I seem to get 4G in places I don't with EE. And yes that is to be expected in the same way you get 4G with EE in places you don't with Vodafone. But from my experience I do get 4G in more EE black spots than the other way round.

Anyone know that the iPhone 7 isn't available to get until November. If that's the case especially if the iPhone 8 is out next year as rumoured. I'll be going back to a android phone for the time being if that's the case.

Interesting..... I could use the monthly saving to pay for an Apple Watch if I do switch .....hmmm!

Yawn.

Is the 7 or the plus you're after? The 7 is available in stores right now, unless you want black which might be a bit harder to get hold of but shouldn't be more than a few weeks at the most.

Fu#%ing Music Magpie!

I sent them my iPhone 6 yesterday, which they had offered £275 for.
It was near perfect with just one scratch on the rear about 5mm, which according to their own T&Cs is ok.

They just revised their offer to £141!!!

They can poke that! Rejected the offer & now hoping it gets back to me in the condition I sent it!

Rant over!

Hey guys! I checked my order status and it said that it's awaiting payment. My card for sure has enough funds and is the correct card linked to my account. Anyway, i tried changing my details to be safe and it kept on saying that my card details couldn't be updated. I also tried my master card and it said the exact same. I refreshed the Apple Store app and it went back to 'processing'. Do you think it was just a glitch? I'm worried as my card hasn't been charged and my order hasn't changed from 'processing'. It says that i should be getting my phone between 20-22nd September but no change in order status and my card hasn't been charged.

7 plus mate. I'll just need to keep an eye on a few websites every so often when they have it in stock.

First day with iPhone 7 128GB Black has been good. Really liking the new solid state home button and how fast it works! The decision is now whether to stick with this or try for an iPhone 7 Plus as I was coming from a 6s Plus...

Whenever I had devices on both networks... the EE 3G was faster than the fastest speed I ever saw on Vodafone 4G. Now everything on EE.

Originally 26th-3rd for delivery. Page on Apple still says 27th delivery.

How can it take that long for an express delivery?

Exact same phone - and exact same position. I had the 26-Sep to 3-Oct window - phone shipped today and originally said 27th Sept delivery - just got on to the TNT site - and that now says 26th Sept - so one day better. I also wonder how it can take 10 days from China - hopefully its a very cautious estimate and we see them sometime next week??

Heads up to those who are looking at recyclers, traded in my iPhone 6 64gb for £280 at Game which beat music magpie's offer of £273. Only downside is you have to give them the box and all accessories but you get cash right away!

Thanks for the advise.

Assuming my phone gets back to me in the same condition I sent it to them in, that's where I'll be heading!

From what I've seen of late, most companies requiring you to send them your phone are doing this now. I guess it's just to easy to offer less once they have your phone in their grubby mits and I imagine there are many people who just accept the reduced offer.

I took the advice from another poster on here and took my 6s+ into my local CPW this morning and got the full advertised online price paid onto my card there and then, no hassle.

Good for you - popping up out of the woodwork slowly from the most unexpected of places!

A Very to IoM, John Lewis walk-ins & now a jet black from a Carrier shop ...

Wtf?! I knew their prices were too good to be true. Their website said they'll give you what they quote on there! Did you mention that? It's their 'price guarantee'.

Edit: Yah, I just went to check and it says their 'Price Promise' is that they pay the full amount quoted.

I was gonna go with Music Magpie cause they're offering more than anyone, but after that post I don't think I'll bother. I think Mazuma have a notice on their site which says they'll always give the advertised quote and they don't deduct for cosmetic damage. The MM quote was only slightly higher than theirs so maybe I'll just go with Mazuma.

Hopefully the current PFD iPhones ship tommorow for delivery on Monday! That's assuming they are already in the UK...

That's the thing with the word 'guarantee'. What they actually say is they will give you that price or return your phone for free. "
The musicMagpie Price Promise is simple – we guarantee to pay you the full amount quoted or send your Electronics back to you for FREE, yes FREE."

In other words, they will offer you whatever the hell they like and hope you don't moan!
