Heads up (assuming this is allowed in here) - I've decided against my iPhone 7 Jet Black which is still new and sealed. Check out my thread in the marketplace if you're interested. Looking for just retail price but a local sale only (Scotland).
I think you are talking about UPS track by reference? And it only works if your phone is being shipped by UPS and also only when Apple have actually created the shipping label. But if you want to try it then go to the UPS website, (not the mobile version!) and click on the tracking tab at the top, then on the left hand side click track by reference. Use your Apple order number, the one starting with W, as the reference. Also try it minus the last to characters. Let me know how this goes! Also, check your support profile

It will appear in your support profile before its dispatched. Mine isn't on my profile yet and my status moved to 'Preparing for Dispatch' nearly 30 hours ago. Be patient, it will happen in the next 36 hours or so

I've also had no luck, but if you are the same as me, 20th-22nd and currently preparing for shipment, then they could already be in the UK. And then it's probably gonna be a DPD or UKMail delivery. Praying I don't get TNT, they sound very slow from what people have been saying!
Yes i thought so it does feel plastic but a high quality plastic. But anyway ive ordered the black one which should be here next week

I've deliberately held off commenting on the posts people have been making despite being quoted in some of them but it's getting tiresome reading it now.

If that happens to be joining other like minded people on our yearly pilgrimage to MacRumors UK iPhone pre order threads then so be it.
If it's obsessing over "just a phone" so be it, even if it involves us moaning and whinging about things. We choose to put ourselves through this and we enjoy the drama that goes with it.
You who moan about us are under no obligation to come in here and read our posts, you are perfectly free to create your own thread and have some nice rational conversations.
So perhaps instead of coming in here using condescending comments to try and belittle us you could wind your necks in?

Same here mate i changed my payment method on the phone to apple 7 hours ago and no pending payments on my halifax account..
The person I was quoting/replying to was wanting to track their delivery. Don't get how the support profile is relevant to my post.

You know what the fact that we are even here posting on a forum about a phone says a lot. We are obsessive so we will want our toys Now!! Whilst I might not be disgruntled that is the point of this place to have a place to sound off.

I changed my payment method yesterday afternoon and i've had no status movement or bank charge.
It's absolutely human nature that some people take the stance that they're going to take a step back, and rationalise. Others, like the majority here, get excited and inpatient. Neither outlook is wrong, only when the two come together to discuss it. No one is willing to see the others side.
Sorta like the sitting down/standing up situation for wiping arses.

Mrs was gonna buy a 7 128gb on the IUP but when a mate of mine offered to sell his brand new sealed 6s 64gb on 3 for £300 we couldn't resist

Because "shut up", "tough ****" etc. is a healthy reaction to someone's disappointment on an open community forum...No more depressing really than the posts from those whose world has fallen apart because they can't have what they want when they want it ... works both ways.
