Also waiting on reserving iPhone 7plus in black, wondering why they don't just do it all online? Think it would be easier for everyone if we could order it like pay outright method.

People seem to have short memories.

Stock of 6 and 6 pluses were way worse than this - often the reservation page just wouldn't open at all at 6am

Really? Release day last year I called the Trafford centre in the afternoon and went about 8/9pm and picked up my 64gb 6s plus with no pre order or reservation. Granted that a whole new model is more popular but I still don't see how they are managing to restock just half the range

Thanks,
I think you might need to wait until next week for an update. You should get your before the 3rd but this week Apple will be supplying the 20-22 and 26-30 deliveries. I reckon your time will cone next week.
My AW2 is still on processing and that's supposed to be with me in the 30th.
The annoying thing is that the retail stores will probably have plentiful stock of phones by the time yours is shipped

Thanks, if I can get an iPhone 6 soon and before the Iphone 7 moves to shipping, I'll likely cancel the order. I sold my 6S plus 64gb for £470 about 3 weeks, kind of regret it but didn't know I'd feel the way I do as I've always been happy with the new iPhones.

I'm actually considering a downgrade to a regular Iphone 6 either 64gb/128gb and would rather a space grey. Don't want to pay more than £300. The smaller iPhone will feel like something new at least.....just need to find one.

Yep for the 6 Plus and 6S Plus I queued up overnight and go exactly what I wanted. They weren't even doing queues this year for the Plus models

Crazy! Just found my e-receipt, I just rocked up to the store at 9pm and it wasn't especially busy. Must have been lucky as I got what I wanted.

There was Rose Gold Plus in 128Gb and 256Gb available to reserve at Plymouth, but according to the stock tracker there was no Pluses added at all. Strange
Just spent some time looking at the availability page - it seems they've updated the way the page works, and now it doesn't use the old availability JSON file. It now uses a different endpoint which is only queried when you select a store in the dropdown, and furthermore it's using some cookie trickery to, assumedly, stop people scraping the data. Luckily it's not particularly sophisticated, so I should be able to update my tracking tool this evening.

I imagine this change is why my personal tracker and also the one over at https://code.gladdy.uk/iphone/ doesn't show some Plus stock - I assume https://code.gladdy.uk/iphone/ is also using the old endpoint.

EDIT: Looks like https://reserve.cdn-apple.com/GB/en...290A2E7847CF8309&rv=0&path=&iPP=E&appleCare=Y still uses the availability JSON and https://reserve-gb.apple.com/GB/en_GB/reserve/iPhone?execution=e3s1 doesn't; the latter is what the iPhone Upgrade Program page links to now though...

The big thing for the 6 launch was there was actually stock of all colours!!

I had a release day one same as I have alway had before. This year there wasn't any release day black pluses

My theory on that is that with iPhone 6 apple didn't release any new colours, i mean if you look iPhone 5S people had a hard time getting there hands on Gold with iPhone 6S people had a hard time getting Rose Gold and this year with iPhone 7 people are having a hard time getting there hands on Jet Black and black there two new colours just my thought on it

I'm amongst the Sep 20-22 crowd, hoping it's 21st or 22nd as nobody in till 2pm on 20th. 20th looking increasingly unlikely now anyway it seems.

Payment has been taken.

No movement on the rose gold 256 7+ I ordered for my sister. Delivery 20-22nd. Still processing items. Didn't use Apple Pay just a card, no payment taken yet no notification from bank either about a declined transaction. Guessing it's not coming tomorrow.

i've just been chatting with them (yet again) and they said it'll be receiving my iPhone 7 Plus next monday my guess is it'll be dispatched on Friday and i'll get it then either on saturday or monday ?

My payment has been taken too. That happened on Saturday though so no idea how good a sign that is. Still preparing for destpatch with a delivery of 20-22. Hmm

There is only one endpoint though? There are no non-iPP reservations, and it's still using the availability JSON. It must just be that not all the delivery servers have the same data.

Unless you're talking about the paid reservations via the Apple Store which is a different api, but that's not what the screenshot here showed.

Hi everyone!

I've been reading this thread since the start, well trying to keep up is probably more accurate.

I wanted to pick my 7+ up in store and go on the iPhone upgrade program but when there was no stock availabile in stores I had to preorder for delivery, currently 7-10th of October.

I read on here that when we get them we can take our paid for phones into an Apple Store, get a full refund and sign up for the iPhone upgrade program instead.

Does anyone have any proof of this cos I've just called Apple and they said there is no truth in this rumour?

Cheers.

So for those of us still on PFD with 20-22, its safe to assume that these phones are already in the UK?

Yeah, I agree with bazooka-joe above.

I recall a launch a while back where it went from preparing, shipped & delivered in the course of 36 hours. Had to have been UK already.

Does yours show up in "My Support Profile?". AW did while it was still PFD. But my iphone isn't there yet.

I asked about online orders yesterday and returning to a retail store and T's & C's say that you can. So I believe you could take your phone back to a retail store and they will credit you a gift card and you can sign up for the upgrade programme. But it will be a new transaction and the phone you want may not be available as you cant repurchase the phone that you returned through the upgrade programme.....unless someone on here can correct me on this matter

No mines not on there either. I am not too worried as its just part of the logistics workflow. I would rather see 'Shipped' on my order :)

That's what I would have thought too, but some people are saying they have / have been told you can repurchase the phone you are returning straight on iUP.
