That really sucks! Was this in store or online? I sold two to them on Saturday in store and didn't had any problems. They put the £780 on to my card and that was it. Funds haven't gone into my account yet though but I reckon it'll take a few days.

In store. It was when they did the IMEI check. Though I'm now thinking that because they did the check after the SIM card came out, maybe that's why it shows as unknown. Just frustrating that they would outright lie to me.

Ah maybe. They checked our IMEIs when the sims were still in. They didn't even ask or mention what the lock status was. Bought straight from Apple so they would have been unlocked anyway. I wouldn't stand for them lying either but if the company wide policy is that they think that's what unlocked iPhones do when you put a SIM in then I guess they won't believe you.

It was only when they said £340 and I asked why, did I discover that. I said it's unlocked, bought straight from Apple, so I know it's unlocked, they said that the system says unknown and they have to go with that.

Wish I had thought about the SIM at the time and made them redo it. Might send it off instead, but worried they'll get it and just give me £50 less and that's it.
 
There seems to be no stock in stores today? Has anyone seen any stores get stock of Jet Black Pluses today? I have a feel my stock checker is broken! :(
 
I've not really been following this thread too closely, but after seeing people mention in various places that orders after mine have started to progress I thought I'd simply ask the question here since it's a UK thread: anyone who ordered a 7 128gb jet black with a eta of 4th-10 Oct... are you still sat on processing?

There used to be a way of tracking your order number against shipping companies to find out in advance what's going on with your order rather than relying on the Apple order status, is this still possible?

Still processing on my JB 128GB 7+ with a 4/10 to 10/10 delivery. I reckon wednesday night we should see some movement, delivery early next week!

I am still sat on processing and have a date of 4th - 10th of oct. Starting to think my order is in a black hole somewhere and is never going to move to awaiting dispatch

I'm also still processing, got the confirmation email at 08:05, hope we see updates soon. :)

Sorry I don't know about the order tracking.

Drove a 4 hour round trip to Exeter and picked up my 7+ 256gb MB! It's a stunner, so so worth every penny. I was talking to the apple adviser who was serving me about how stores barely seem to have stock and he said, all the stores are waiting from oversees stock from Apple but they are literally allocated one random plus model a day in most cases! Apparently they're hoping for a big shipment next week sometime.

did you try going to a Game branch? they offered me £280 for an iphone 6 yesterday, about £40 more than CPW and any online site
