I've got the same delivery window for JB+ 256. Seeing as others getting orders dispatched sooner then the estimates, I'm hoping it's not going to end up end of October.

im not in that group but based one what iv seen on the forum and my experience today Apple are a week ahead for most configs, i.e. i received mine the 28th not the estimated 4/10th.
If you can afford it no bother or would use the extra storage then why not. How long will you have to wait for the 128GB?

Yup dispatched - DHL - https://beta.dhl.com/us-en/home.html - choose air and shipping tracking and put the number Apple give for tracking (even though its not to the real one!) and it'll show you where it's at.
Eventually I should be able to track from Apple site but not yet!
Yep - I just happened to spot them by chance so don't know how long they had been there. But my post was probably about 5 mins after I first saw them

So I've had my 7+ 256gb for a few days now and I upgraded from the 6s+, while the difference isn't huge, it definitely feels like a 'new' phone.
I haven't had any buzzing issues to speak of, had calls and everything so maybe just a batch issue. The phone did get a little hotter than normal on restoring but that's expected and stopped after I updated the IOS.
The camera is stunning, a big improvement, the screen is brighter and does look a little more retina (if that makes sense). My favourite improvement is the speakers, they are amazing!! The home button is nice, took a little while to get used to but it's fine now.
LOVE the phone. Hope you all have yours soon!

Missed my delivery today (because I work full time) so came home to this sh*tty card suggesting they would continue to deliver for 3 times then goodness knows what.
Interestingly the status on Apple.com said "Delivery unsuccessful - contact carrier for new delivery appointment" but no information on how to actually do that provided. Also still didn't know my personal tracking number as it was not written on the card from DHL (and unfortunately none of the methods suggested in this thread have worked).
Anyway - cut a long story short I got hold of this local-rate DHL Express number 01332 816960* and spoke to a very helpful lady who was able to find my reference number by postcode and arranged for delivery tomorrow to a local shop half a mile away. I now also know my tracking number... happy days!
* Say "No" when asked if you're a DHL Employee, then request the "Track a Parcel" option, don't say anything when they ask for your reference number (unless you actually know it) - then say "Don't know" when they ask again. This will put you through to an operator.

Wow saw your post earlier and the change thats happened within a couple of hours.
I think Apples estimates are way over. But they are delivering them much sooner than expected. I think they over estimate on purpose just to cover themselves in case any batch issues or disasters but they seem to be delivering much faster than the 11-18th estimate they gave you.

I have two on order (just in case I screw one up!), which have been despatched. I'm not great at fitting these sort of things, but seeing as i'm going caseless I thought I might give bestskinsever a go. That said I like the feel of the iPhone jet black and may not want to cover it up at all. We'll see!

Not long after I pre-ordered, maybe 12th Sep at a guess, but they didn't ship immediately as the skins were pre-order at that time as well! This whole PFD is getting tedious and it's only been just over 24 hours!
Everyone is talking about Apples delivery being conservative and iPhones coming early, yet come 8.12 on Friday 30th I will have waited the full 3 weeks for this bloody phone to ship! Ships 2-3 weeks my ass! Anyway, as the time nears, the more impatient I become! At least next year, I'll be on the IUP and fortunately won't be without a phone. I've been suffering a Galaxy S2 since 31st August 2016, so you can begin to understand my frustrations!
I can afford the extra £100, I don't need 256GB but I'm becoming a little impatient haha as I ordered just under 3 weeks ago. Was told I would have my 128GB by the 7th of Oct.
