Missed my delivery today (because I work full time) so came home to this sh*tty card suggesting they would continue to deliver for 3 times then goodness knows what.

Interestingly the status on Apple.com said "Delivery unsuccessful - contact carrier for new delivery appointment" but no information on how to actually do that provided. Also still didn't know my personal tracking number as it was not written on the card from DHL (and unfortunately none of the methods suggested in this thread have worked).
Anyway - cut a long story short I got hold of this local-rate DHL Express number 01332 816960* and spoke to a very helpful lady who was able to find my reference number by postcode and arranged for delivery tomorrow to a local shop half a mile away. I now also know my tracking number... happy days!
* Say "No" when asked if you're a DHL Employee, then request the "Track a Parcel" option, don't say anything when they ask for your reference number (unless you actually know it) - then say "Don't know" when they ask again. This will put you through to an operator.
I got a similar situation just a card left from UPS. Managed I hope to arrange a more suitable delivery time.
