Going to cancel the return for now. Going to try my luck at an apple store and see if they will keep one aside for me as a replacement. Failing that, I guess ill reconsider a replacement. I have 14 days to make a decision anyway. If Apple could allow me to keep this unit until the replacement arrived I would wait the whole 2 month period but after waiting a month for this one already, I cant be bothered waiting again lol.

Hi there just a follow up - i ordered a Jet Black 128gb the processing date says 18-31st Oct Am i to assume that some of the 18-31st oct pre-orders are now moving - i would love to hear from those who are in that slot so we can see what is happening - cheers

Ok just checked our iPhones - we got 3 jet blacks 128gb originally scheduled for 18-31st oct - they are all SAYING preparing for shipment so that is GREAT - ANYONE wants to give an educated guess on how long it takes between the preparing to shipment notification to final UK delivery? ;0

Anybody here ordered with BT mobile? They seem to be making no progress with my order and every search I do seems to no leads or people having their order cancelled? So far I've had an order cancelled, out for delivery and then 'sorry we didn't receive your parcel' with it showing as delivered to me, I'm going out my mind and nobody at BT seems to know what's going off!

Masterman i would give them a call it would seem a lot of UK providers will have jet blacks towards the end of OCT - the quicker you act the better your chances DONT wait too long !!!

I had the JB ordered and that ended up being cancelled for the Matte, having played on both in the Apple Store though I'm quite happy with this. In their website the normal 7 is showing as delivery in 2 days and the 128 MB+ in 1-2 weeks, very poor customer service so far though.

To top it off, my Watch series 2 arrived today, I only ordered it yesterday!

Just got off the phone to apple. Very apologetic and have offered me a replacement JB Plus. I now have to send back my defect model and wait for a new one to arrive. No direct swap available in any store. Fun times

I'm sure their customer services can do better than that!! Keeping yours in the meantime seems appropriate at very least!!

this has been the longest pre-order wait ever - i been pre-ordering for years - but this year !! Apple really dropped the ball on the supply !

I'll take that bet and raise you @cheeky13astard... I reckon it will ship Sunday from China with an awkward 'delivered after last approved acceptance' or similar from the carrier!! Would love to be disappointed in my guesswork

I have a Noisy MB +, I've spoken to apple and they said it shouldn't be like that so they are going to replace. I've re-ordered and actually gone for a JB this time but they are letting me keep the phone until the other one arrives. I spoke to someone on their chat who has sent me an email that I have to take with me to a store when my new one arrives. It can be done.

Although I didn't order the Jet Black, I ordered the Matte Black Plus 128GB and was told id receive it by the 7th of October.

After my recent conversations with them, I aint holding my breath on getting it by then

Going to send back my black plus to JL tomorrow. I would only consider swapping at an applestore if they would replace it with a brand new iPhone sealed in a retail box as this phone is only 2 days old. Does anyone know if they can do that? Tried to phone the store earlier but couldn't get through.
