Wasn't to bad last week when I got transferred to 4 different people and got told 4 different stories about my order dispatch date lol.
Looks like I will be phoning them up Friday night though as I haven't had a dispatch email tonight
I know EE unlock after 6 months. O2 start to unlock them after a while not sure about payg ones.
Vodafone are nightmare tried unlocking a 6 with them and they kept saying wrong imei or imei not on file till i escalated to the CEO office and it got sorted and i wasnt charged either.
i just seen that my UPS jet black iPhone has reached Korea - the delivery date is now unknown it was there before the message below - anyone who knows anything about this technicality let me know ;0 how long does it last - does a date come back?

Quite a few of us have this. Made it to Korea and the date has now dissapeared. Not sure why, perhaps its normal. @purpledragonuk contacted UPS and they say they are having problems with their tracking and that her phone is actually in Germany. Of course they may just be saying that.....
I just ordered thru Carphone warehouse. Forced to take the 256GB 7 Plus as that was the only model in stock for tomorrow delivery. Paid thru my corporate AMEX. Anyone know if their credit checks are strict? I tried purchasing a B&W headphone last month and they rejected the purchase as it was thru a corporate AMEX.
Edit: Crap, I read that the CPW phones lock to first SIM inserted. I bought because I want to use SIMs from different countries that I travel to frequently (different regions). So what do I do now? Questions:
1. I am on EE. Assuming I get this phone, do I now have to call EE and get them to unlock the phone?
2. After unlocking, can I use it with SIMs from different countries?

C'mon UPS, please update my tracking info. My iPhone isn't in transit, isn't on time and isn't being delivered today! Still no new estimated day. All phone support say is that there are problems in Korea and keep checking tracking.
My original delivery estimate was 24-31 Oct. It's updated today as dispatched and expected by the 14th of October.
This is the similar to mine being one day later though than yours.
Unlike the others who have UPS mine is DHL Express. Is yours the same?

I would find out which carrier unlocks their phones the quickest and get a payg sim from them to put in first. With EE you have to wait 6 months.
Give three a ring from what I read on their site, they don't lock the phone. But best to check with them by phone.

I don't think UPS know whats happening! I phoned this afternoon and was told that my phone didn't arrive in Korea and was still in china as its a one week public holiday and the tracking is wrong and to keep checking the tracking. Its a fiasco.
Thanks my main line is with EE, have been a PAYM user for a year or so with a sub line. Assuming won't be an issue unlocking with EE? Haven't done this before so I'd like to be really sure else thinking of returning the phone.
Isn't that only for a phone bought from them on contract? If you bring your own device, and it ends up locked to their network, they will do it for £8.99 without waiting 6 months I thought?

Im not sure, it was a right mare for me to unlock with EE, even though I had the device for 15 months they kept trying to tell me I hadn't had it 6 month. I had to email the CEO in the end.
That's fine as long as I can get device unlocked. Read some online sites saying that Three and some providers don't unlock if phone not purchased from them

Oh dear scares me
Direct flight to Amsterdam (use apple tracking code for that, it applies to the whole pallet of iPhones.
Then from there to UK. Route for this leg is destination dependant, nine went Brussels, Leipzig, East Midlands then on the road to Newcastle and out for delivery. You can track using customer reference in the dispatch email but only for this leg.
The plane landed in Amsterdam on Thursday and delivery was Monday.
