iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Apples tracking still says "in transit to destination country" so it's really behind.

Will give UPS a call - that's a good tip so thank you.

Seems like I'm having the same fun as everybody else.

The Apple website said my estimated delivery would be 11-17th October, so I got super excited when I started tracking on UPS and saw it was going to arrive for the 5th... and then it got stuck in Korea. And then for a short time it said the 6th.

I was watching these forums and saw the post about the website saying it was in Korea, but UPS call centre saying it's in Germany. I called them myself and they said the same thing so I booked the day off feeling fairly confident it would arrive today.

Alas, the UPS website changed again. FINALLY! ...but said it was still in Korea. Spoke to the call centre just now and they confirmed it was still in Korea.

I don't think anyone knows where anything is to be honest.

There's been some big typhoon in Korea so I guess the delays are understandable, but it would be more helpful if UPS actually had their S*** together.

Sigh.

No estimated delivery date now, what a joke, already wasted a days holiday from work.

This was my first experience preordering an iphone - I ordered it 20 mins after the site went live and everyone else I know irl already has one just by popping into the apple store on the iphone upgrade program
 
At the risk of becoming slightly too obsessed with this (nah too late!) my UPS status says departed Korea this morning yet I can't find flight info for it... anyone have any suggestions?

I've had no more updates since it departed Stansted at 6am and that didn't show up on the tracker until 8am. I hope mine is actually out for delivery as well. At this rate I'm expecting the email from reception telling me they have a package for me before UPS tracking updates again.
 
Hi there

i got an update for those who had a pre-order of the jet blacks set to 18-31 october but later showed as 7th Oct delivery by UPS and now have a status that shows it is stuck in Korea - I got an email from UPS Korea - they missed some flight so it will be going tonight to Germany (tonight i assume means Korea time)


Below is the response


It was changed to EUR flight schedule due to cancelled of EUR flight.
So this shipment will be released to DE by 5X0195 on tonight.

So I think we should track this flight on a tracking website and see what happens -

I called Apple to - they investigated this and said that their internal system shows 12th Oct -the item is not lost as such so don't worry - However the UPS number above looks more promising - Tomorrow might be possible but early next week is possible too.

Thank you for your email.

I apologise about the delay.

I'm afraid there was a massive delay of Apple shipments in Korea. We don't have any specific information yet as to why the delay happened. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

I would advise to keep on tracking this delivery. Once it has a 'destination' scan, it will be delivered next business day.

I'm thinking Monday at the earliest now. Oh well.
I'll be at work... when I try to change the delivery address it says I've chosen to deliver to a neighbour and the alternative address should be within walking distance of my home address? I'm a bit scared to confirm it in case it delays things even further, haha.

Finally! Hope everyone else's arrives tomorrow who have left Korea today. Flight yesterday was UPS 5X1. You can track it at flightradar24. Went from Korea - Hong Kong - cologne - London.

For those waiting on DHL Jet blacks i just seen an update - so it has departed SHATAX

i presume on route to Amsterdam i assume - which is good news
