I'm with the AT&T next programAnyone who is in the iPhone Upgrade program and is getting screwed over needs to make sure they call and complain with Apple. The only way they will actually change their system is if people complain.
Best part is the system will never change, it's like that every year.Ships November is the biggest FU you can give to your customers who stay awake all night with a credit card ready waiting for the stupid servers to load a pre order website.
And it's easy to see that the Jet Black 7 will become a must have "fashion" item.
I don't understand why AT&Ts site gave these dates from the very beginning. I ordered the same phone from Apple and got a sept 16 date.ATT website won't take my order, been trying since 3:03 eastern. Every time i hit submit order it goes to the top of the page like there is something I forgot to check-but there isn't. Im either getting 500 of them or 0 from hitting the submit button for an hour!
Well it went through-iphone 7 jet black 128 gb ships Oct 14-21

With all due respect, creating hype / demand based on lack of inventory isn't exactly a new practice. You have no idea how many iPhones that Apple already had produced ready to go, nor what their rate of production is... so, before getting too excited, might be worth waiting to see what the sales figures are in a couple of months?
It keeps saying my store is unavailable for a reservation.... WTF!!!
Hey I'll take the 12.9 iPad Pro over the MacBook / MacBook Air any day. And I have both a MacBook and MacBook Air so I really mean it. I never use them anymore.Because you were the only person in the country that wanted it. lol
Yep, I feel your pain
Well how else can they inspect it first and then tell us hmm there's a scratch here Or it's damaged and not allow you to upgrade. As long as you've made the equivalent of 12 payments, you can upgrade.
As for the short end of the stick, I agree. My buddy in Texas just started with the iPhone upgrade program. He can have it shipped to his house! Us already on it don't have that option. Apparently mailing your device back is an unknown concept.
Best part is the system will never change, it's like that every year.
Yeah, you mention that because of the unique pattern of scratches on each phone... right? It's going to be fun reading the first reviews on how easy it is to get scratches which will lead to a nice case that... ooops... covers the 'fashion' item![]()
Not many in production, gives a false impression lots flew out of the Jet Black iPhone 6 Series 3.That Jet Black literally flew out the window like a Jet. Already into November.
Boy, ordering direct from T-Mobile is a disaster.
Their website is dog-slow and throwing errors on every other page load, the online system that's supposed to give you $650 for a trade-in 6 or 6s and $400 for a trade-in 5 or 5s isn't working at all (it offered me $58! yay!), trying to pre-order a 7 using the "upgrade" button as an existing customer takes you to an upgrade page that only lists Android models (or, occasionally at random, only 4G hotspots), the "when will my phone actually ship" link takes you to a page listing only Samsung phones, and it ended up being literally impossible, as an existing customer, to pre order an iPhone 7.
After going around in circles for a half hour I gave up and resorted to the phone line, which resulted in a cheerful operator calling me back an hour later, and then telling me that their upgrade system is broken so the best he could do is put me down and call me back at 10am to complete the order when it was back up.
He also claimed I could get in line for a jet black to ship on launch day, which I'm highly skeptical of given how quickly it sold out at Apple.com. If it's all the same, I'd take the jet black for the heck of it, but I'd rather have a regular black before I leave for a trip that weekend than get the flashy one.
Apple's site, of course, is working fine, but since $399 is way more than I'd get for a 5s on eBay I kind of don't have a choice but to go through them.
C'mon, T-mobile. You knew that half your customers were going to rush your online storefront at 12:01am, don't you think you could have put a little more effort into having it not be completely broken?
