Blahhh blahhh blahhh ...

I sure hope iphone 7 ( or what ever it's named) wont be popular!!!!
So i can preorder and get mine on launch day ;-)

Not that pre-ordering is necessary for the 10 people who are buying one.

I won't be buying one but it would be a very ignorant comment from me if I said 10 people are going to buy it, Matter of fact I think it will sell just as good or even better then 6s. But anyway, this is a MacRumors zone so comments like yours are a norm here, not to mention the stratospheric expectations.

I think Apple is just bored with the Mac.
I'm too. If not for apps like Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason and NI Complete 10 Ultimate that I have invested in, I wouldn't even turn my Mac on. I can do so much already on my iPad Pro 12.9 and Steinberg ported Cubase (Cubasis) to iPad anyway. I just wish that the rest of my apps for Mac will make a transition to iOS soon.

3GB of ram? Wishful thinking. Who would upgrade to 7S then?

Do you think most people who buy iPhones even know how much RAM is in their phone? Having more RAM has never been a significant selling point for any iPhone.

The A-10 processor will be enough reason for me to upgrade from a 6s.

Is the A9 really too slow for you already?

This will be the first time in years that I won't be preordering. But I will look forward to the announcement, the reviews, and seeing what the new cameras can do. I may trade in my 6S Plus if the new dual camera system brings extraordinary results but I won't be buying upon release this time.

I think the upgraded components are a significant step up on refining the 6 series, but do not truly define an entirely new series. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's just not particularly exciting as it was when the 6 body type was first released.
I never pre-order, I usually wait until November.

You're Apple's favourite type of customer :)
You watching his wallet?:)
Doesn't take much for you to upgrade. I think it's safe to assume you'll be upgrading next year when the real upgrade arrives.
Me neither.:p

There is much more profit in an idevice . All TC cares about .

iPad pros are already laptop pricing, in the future they can evolve them more to be "desktop replacements" charging higher premium and adding accessories, increasing profits, and also people will want to upgrade these "desktop replacements " for more grunt.

A laptop has lower profit and lasts too long....., and the damn think comes with most accessories an iPad will need. That is why you limit the ports and add adapters....my awesome MacBook

Interesting to watch Macrumors become the go-to place for Apple haters and doomsayers.

Meanwhile the rest of the community will just continue to buy Apple's products and enjoy them, completely oblivious to us dying breed of nerds who care more about specs and Skylake rather than the experience offered by the product and its ecosystem.

Apple's whole has always been greater than the sum of it's parts.
Success breeds envy.

Sounds more like an iPhone 6M instead of an iPhone 7. (M = Memory)

iPhone 2017 seems to be the sh*t.

- no physical bezels
- glass body
- on screen fingerprint sensor
- long range wireless charging

I'm not sure I want long range wireless charging; I worry about the effect on my gonads.

265GB would be significant.

It would, and so would be 256GB. ;)

I really don't have a problem with the evolution approach and the fact that the form factor will be staying the same.

I do have a huge problem that this is happening in the generation with absolutely THE WORST iPhone form factor ever, probably the least ergonomic smartphone I have ever owned.
