iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2 Launch Around the World

No, just most people could care less about the apple watch. Why it gets little attention. Just look at the drastic step down lauch from what they did last time. Basically, oh yeah we also have a chunky watch made in taiwan and its at Macys now not just Walmart... Move on.

Bummer. It seems like it happened because of the iPhone Upgrade Program. It feels like they pulled back the stock they had set aside for walk-in in order to satisfy the demands from their subscribers. I think it makes sense... but it's still a bummer for people like yourself!

Which is why you wake up in the middle of the night to preorder if you want a phone on launch day.

Even the earbud case? Gosh. When we criticise Apple's management for its beancounting, pennythrifting ways we're called out as "haters". Like they're not saving enough by breaking their biennial redesign cycle and using the same shell for a third year in a row. Pff

I can't wait to get mine after work. I'm on the iPhone upgrade program and wanted the jet black iPhone 7 but had to settle for the black iPhone 7.
 
I went from a 6+ to a regular 6s, and I have admit I miss the screen size. My spouse, on the other hand, likes the smaller screen, but larger storage. We skipped the release-day hysteria and upgraded last November, so if we decide to upgrade this year, I'll get the entry-level 7+ and my spouse the 128GB 7. We may skip this one and wait for the 8, but I have a feeling it will be 6 months after release before we're able to because there's going to be high demand. Look at the demand for the 7 and that's barely an upgrade from the 6s.

I'm finally going to take the plunge for the Apple Watch -- probably Series 1 because I don't swim, always carry my iPhone with me (so GPS isn't that significant), and a lower price.

I would give $1000 to charity if this isn't the best ever launch in terms of sales - you name the charity I will keep to my word.
Apple are keeping tight lipped for a reason - why - I dont know...

I ordered a rose gold 128 gig iPhone 7+ and a jet black 128 gig iPhone 7+ around 12:06 am on the 9th. My wife's rose gold phone will arrive today while my jet black one will be shipped in two weeks. I am tracking today's delivery and I see a hiccup because of a weather related flight delay in Taiwan. UPS is saying they will still deliver today. I hope so.

I know from years of experience that Apple always under promises and over achieves on deliveries so I think I will have my jet black iPhone 7+ this month.
Edit: I received the phone today at 1:20 pm PDT even though it was marked for Saturday delivery. Good job Apple and UPS.

got my iPhone 7 black today. But the quality/finish of the camerabump is absolutely terrible. This is not the standard I expect from a product that costs 860 Euros!! It is suttle but I saw it instantly when I held the phone in my hand for the first time.


Is your quality better? Maybe there is something wrong with the production process!


What should I do: Go to apple store?, Send it back?, Do nothing?

I live in Germany and I fear that they don't have any stock for replacement!

Let's just hope Apple produces more iPhone 7 plus in time for the holidays. I really wanted a rose gold 7 plus but they're sold out everywhere. :(

It looks like it got scratched during production. I don't notice it. If it really bothers you see if an Apple Store will let you file a complaint. My guess is that they would let you keep it until a replacements arrives.

Mhmm... I don't think these are scratches :/ for me it looks more like bad work of a milling machine/robot?

And now it's bumped up to Tuesday the 20th by UPS. I can't complain about 4 days late in the slightest, especially when I expected it another week later.
