Well, I didn't even use it that much today. My main activities was music in the background, then WhatsApp, Telegram, 10 minutes of camera usage, and just checking Snapchat and Instagram couple times

What's on top of your usage list? Is there an app with unusually high percentage?

It looks that way. However I used skype yesterday, not today.

Well, I provided some experiment.

I used my iPhone 7 actively for half hour (chatting in messengers and watching pictures) and it took 10% of my battery. If it's taking 10% each half hour then it can work only 5 hours with the continuous usage.

Look at the screens. What do you guys think?

I am kinda disappointed with my battery. It goes down 1% every few minutes of light usage (messengers, instagram, etc).

Right now i have such situation (i used my phone very light today - no games, no hard graphic):

That seems like decent battery usage--it's not great but it's also not bad at all. Somewhere between OK and good essentially. Are you using Low Power Mode all the time though (in which case it might be a bit below average)?

No, not all the time. However check my previous screenshot please

We can't see your top apps. If something like my situation is happening that might be right, but from experience; 5 hours for chat apps is not good, unless you are on 75%+ brightness and have exchange mail turned on with push.

My screenshots:

Here you can see that Mail is taking 11 percent (it is on 16 percent right now, almost 12 hours later)

When I click the clock:

It used 2 minutes on-screen and 1 on the background. What the hell? At this very moment, as I said, it used up 16 percent with 1 minute on-screen and 1 background. Annoying AF. Activity is also being weird.

I have this with iMessage as well, but only if I use the mac or iPad a lot with iMessage (sadly a lot of people use it as a chat-app, sending 10 messages after one another, also very annoying). The syncing process causes a LOT of drain. I suspect something similar is going on with the mail app, but I wouldn't know what. I only have Gmail synced.

This is on top of the drain I get for having a watch connected :(

Well, I have auto-level of brightness. And if I'm launching Snapchat, it can eat 1% even per 2 minutes I guess

I got the iPhone 7 expecting the battery life to be much longer than it was on my iPhone 6, due to the new efficiency processors and whatnot, but it's just as bad, if not worse. I have to partially charge it at least once during the day if I want to be able to use it by the time I go to sleep. I'm going to try and do the restore ting tomorrow. I'm hoping Apple is going to do something about this. All the reviews I've read online have said that the iPhone 7 has a terrible battery life (despite Apple claiming it's supposed to be 2 hours longer than that of the iPhone 6s!).

So what's just as bad in your case? What usage and standby time do you get (and at what battery percentage)?

I don't particularly use my phone for very intensive tasks very often, usually light web browsing, checking when a bus will arrive, Facebook, etc. But these things, including Facebook, aren't hogging up battery. Everything seems to be using it fairly. I could take my phone off charge at 7:30 AM and by 4:00 pm be on 20%. Which isn't great, as far as I'm aware... I can't give a current standby and usage time since iPhone was plugged in since last full charge.

One thing to note is that I have background app refresh turned off for most apps, only weather and Uber are allowed to use my location ALL the time, and raise to wake it turned off - as far as I'm concerned, these are all pretty big battery drains

Finding my standby and usage times a bit weird today.

Hey guys , does somebody faced the same situation as me?

After I charged my iPhone 7 (IOS 10.2.1) to the 100% , when I started to use it , there was a 100% on the screen around the next half hour of usage. Then it started to drop.

I went to sleep when my iPhone was on 98%.when I woke up (7 hrs after that) it was on 93%.

How do you think is there something wrong? Does somebody else faced such situation also?

What's the issue exactly?

Issue is that my battarwy usually drains fast. (It can drain 10% during the half hour of active usage), however after charging it shows me 100% first half hour, no matter how hard I'm using it.

That's fairly typical/normal.

Nothing is wrong it's different usage. Sometimes I get these numbers, but usually I get same as you
5-6h of usage
15-18 standby
